Portland shouldn't even be an option. It was voted the nation's most depressed city

Move to Seattle

I know. But we're not that depressed. Detroit and Stockton, CA's depression > Portland. And I could have sworn Seattle was still butthurt over theSonics, too.

Okay, enough joking around. Seattle and Portland are pretty much the same, but one's bigger and has more to do. So, OP, if you want a chill city with nicepeople and the opposite of Texas, the NW is for you.

You just in the wrong city, you need to relocate to

DALLAS, TX.

I'm still mad they took the team but we still have the Seahawks, Mariners, and Sounders. You only got 1 pro team and I'm surewe'll be getting our 4th team back sometime soon.

I agree with that second part though. NW is not a bad place to live.

where @ in TX?

I have a house in Plano, and an apt in LA and as much as I like LA, i'm going to settle down in texas....cost of living is much cheaper.

RI; Providence.. Its gonn be decent.. it gets boring though.. I prolly going to Boston.. I know so far, but there are more things to do there.

We're getting the MLS team in 2 years, son. Dont sleep on the Timbers. We gonna be running the Sounders into the ground.

I could really care less about MLS. I was just throwing that out there.

Seattle and Portland are pretty much the same, but one's bigger and has more to do.

I just caught this. They're not pretty much the same when Seattle is bigger and has more to do. Let's just end this, we can bothagree that Seattle > Portland.

No we cant. I'm always gonna give my city the edge over a place I dont live. It's just human nature.
And people in Portland> people in Seattle. I've had first hand experience with many people from both cities, and I enjoy Portlanders more. PDX doesnthave the greatest people on earth, but all in all, I like these people more.

I will say though, people in Seattle > people in Gainesville. So take that as a win and call it a day, cause I'm done. We've already had thisargument in some other thread.

My town, Fresno, Central Cali, isn't bad, cheap places to live, just gets a little boring sometimes, Not too far from the beach, SF or LA.

Irvine, California.

Right in the heartland of Southern California, right by the Pacific and just a drive from LA and San Diego.
