NT: School Me On American Apparel Hoodies

So I have a friend who swears by these things. She says they are the best things ever made. So I check out their website and I see that they are $42 bucks. Idon't have a problem paying that much for a hoodie because I've paid more before. However, I want to be sure that the quality is worth it. I don'twant to spend the money on them and then they turn out to be some cheap quality at best. What's your thoughts on these. Are they really the best out or ismy friend just overexaggerating??

I don't have a hoodie, but I have some shirts and they feel great. Quality product

That's a no go. There's not one near me. Trust me, I would if I could.
would it be possible to borrow it from the friend? even if it doesn't fit you could just feel the material a bit.

Reminds me when I saw Pam anderson at American Apparel in santa monica...

you're correct. they are based in l.a. they have a cool line call legalize l.a. and its not about pot but about immigration. you're right about theshirts too. their shirts are amazing, especially the tri-blend shirts. some of their stuff is weird but other than that i love that place.

I like some of the stuff at American Apparel but I @*%!%!% hate the one nearest me.

@ the Gold Coast American Apparel. Employees act like cause they'redown the street from Barney's and Prada they can have that mindset.

I don't mind paying AA prices, its worth it. I own two hoodies & the quality is pretty good.
They have 3 pack hoodies on ebay for $60..I'd look into that..

yea i just ordered from there for the first time and got my shipment like 5 hrs ago. Not liking the track jacket but the hoody and tshirts are decent. Nothingspecial but you get what you pay for.

I love American Apparel hoodies. There are a couple of printing companies on eBay that buy AA hoodies, tees, etc. in bulk and they sell them for $25-30 withshipping.

very good quality hoodie. love my black zipup. the material is very soft.

Not mentioned is the colour. I don't know the processes, but the colour accuracy and vibrancy of AA hoodies are on point.

Definitely quality product...

living in orange county, that's all anyone ever wears now adays.

We used their t-shirts for making our Red Cross club shirts.
I've washed it about 30-40 times.
no stretched collar, no fading, no disfiguration.

is it expensive?
most definitely.

but you're looking into a product that will last you a LONG time.

their windbreakers are where it's at though.
