Thanks for the help. Sony has the HX909 46' LED for $2,800.  Dont know why its so expensive; its in the low 1,000s in most other places.

I actually own the KDL55EX500. Got it as a gift from work, thing is great. Looks much better than my Samsung plasma which is why i dont understand why everyone here is saying plasma has the best picture. Plasmas are known for their low color contrast ratio and high glare due to the glass panel. LED hands down is the best technology on the market, thin panels, bright colors, and deep black levels. The best brands (imo) Samsung > Sharp > Sony. I used to sell TVs and spent hrs around them running all day, took traning classes on the different technologies and know their limitations.
