Interesting 1st half dog system.  I did a series of round robin 1/2 unit parlays based on it.

Just got through reading an article on Offenses  wins games, not the Defense. I wanted to see how , using the OFFENSIVE STAT, an ORANK SYSTEM compare to the DRANK SYSTEM that I’ve been tracking since Week 1.

Since I did not track the Offensive Rating/Ranking from week 1, I used only the  weeks that  I have noted in my notebook (Week 7,8,9). I know the sample size is small, but, the results, I think, is worth the post.  This is a very simple system with only one exception to the rule: Eliminate the double-digit favorite from the system.
Plays/Picks does not take anything (injuries, weather, etc) into consideration. Only criteria is to play on the higher ranking/rated offense, according to a stat (same one as the DRANK stat, only using the offensive stat here) I use to measure best to worst offenses.

I went through my notes for the last three weeks to get all the plays. I used my parlay lines, divided it by two and used that number as my half-time line, and based the win/loss record on it. I tried looking for past half-time lines but couldn’t find a site with them. Your BEST BETS would be to play all the DOGS (in system) to win the 1st Half bet.

Oh and also only got one pick for the day I wasnt going to put anything in I took a beating yesterday but I decided last minute to place and barely got Min pk in for a unit.

I was building a parlay with cincy +7 Car +7 and Vik pk but I put it in and the game JUSt started, so that pretty much means they're guaranteed to win just because I got screwed lol.

What it's saying is if the better ranked offense team is a dog, play them in the 1st half.

You love systems 4w
laugh.gif
..they can work though, short term, but I've never gotten into them

Was a bloodbath on the true day 1 of CBB for me, right now I'm only rocking with the Bengals +7 (and ML +250) and Jets -3

Nothing I've liked in CBB since day 1, Kent State maybe, that game will be good, but only messing with niffle today

Denver PK very large in the 4pm games

Explanation for this? I hadn't planned on taking either team to this point but  Denver is 31st in the league in Run Defense going against one of the tops in Run O...

I'm liking the Denver play just from how the public bets are heavy on the Chiefs (71/29) and the line hasn't moved at all from KC -1.

Not seeing much else on the afternoon games... put together a parlay of SF -5, DAL +13.5 and ARZ ML.

Also piggybacked Al3xis's plays (CS -3.5 and FAU at +7)

Just on it large due to the fact that the Broncos are off a bye - in a must win spot - at home, and are only a PK. I made this line around 3.5 or 4, possibly even up to 7 and I'm considering the ALT Line -7.5 @ +260,

Add in the fact that the Chiefs just played a very physical game against the Raiders, Charles is banged up, and the Chiefs have to an extent played over the top so far this season, and it sets up for a large play.

You always look for advantages in games/lines when gambling and when you get them you must exploit them and go big, this is one of those spots.

I say the Broncos win this game way more than 50% of the time, at a PK, that's the chances the linesmakers are giving them

It also doesn't hurt that most saps are on the Chiefs today. Get on it for a little Fraij
