Nice game.

I don't feel like it's the books cleaning up, I just think that collectively gamblers can be overconfident about outcomes.

thinking about it more , i might lean OSU ML . the loss to Mich St. looks much better seeing how they played against Stanford . with OSU i get the better coach and the better defense

I agree with better coach and better D, but how will the loss of 2 key defenders affect their D? Also, just like OU last night, is Clemson more eager to show they "belong" amongst the elite programs and make a statement vs. Ohio State, than Ohio State is vs. Clemson. I mean Ohio State was thinking National champ game all along like Alabama... Now they got Clemson who everyone EXPECTS them to hammer based on Clemson's sorry D. I think Clemson will be every bit motivated and has the weapons on O to hang up some big #s if Ohio State doesn't take them seriously.

As for Mizzou/Ok State, I think OK state has the more "balanced" team. coaching is a push IMO, and OK State's loss to OU doesn't look nearly as bad after last nights OU win vs Bama. I think OK State forces some mistakes on D and wins by 3-7. This will be a hard fought game as both teams seem reasonably motivated to prove they belong on this stage.

That being said, I am leaning Clemson +3, and OK State -1.5. Glad I stayed off College hoops last night. Wisconsin smoked Northwestern and game was over by halftime. Ditto, Arizona, and embarrassed WSU( 7 pts in one half). :x

need to give some thought to the bowl games tonight

might throw Baylor (NCAAM) in with that NHL parlay. no reason for them lose, right?

Because Oklahoma State is going to win...

I don't put too much stock in rivalry games and OK. State has been a top 3 team ever since they made that swap at QB after the West Virginia upset, Stoops & company just had a great gameplan in place the day the Cowboys took an L in what was an extremely cold/windy weather day which we all know has huge effects on pass heavy teams. (Dome game this evening.)

After seeing that Mizzou defense against Auburn's offense that runs 85% of the time get disgustingly slaughtered I vowed to never put money behind Mizzou again considering all their wins against ranked teams this year were fugazi (Florida, Georgia being decimated w/ injuries, Barely beat A&M with a hobbled Manziel, etc.)... I've watched a lot of their games this year and while they have a ton of talent on the perimeter, the play-calling severly handicap's their WR's to get going, they run that WR screen play for Green-Beckham to the short side of the field all the damn time. :smh:

IMO at the end of the day this game comes down to Mizzou's RB Josey, when he plays really well their offense is extremely tough to stop because Franklin doesn't make mistakes, but slow him down/take him out of the game and the Tigers go into desperation mode... so if he gets 170+ yards (which he won't) they have a good chance to win, otherwise I see Oklahoma State getting up early and handling business.

Agreed. I am much more sold on OK State's ability to defend than I am Mizzou. In a tight game, I think this favors OK State so here we go. Still can't quite bring myself to back Clemson. Something just feels wrong about betting against Oh State to lay two eggs in a row.

ESPN has OK State as a 2.5 point favorite. Probably because Gundy is 5-2 in bowl games and OK State has been turnt up since Chelf took over at QB.

DGB is the best player on the field even if Gilbert can hold his own across him. This game obviously isn't in Stillwater. Mizzou lost narrowly in 2OT to a strong South Carolina team. Remained competitive against the SEC representative in the BCS National Championship. EJ Gaines gets a crucial pick. Mizzou by 3-6 points, either way I'm not picking OK State.

Just something to consider, brotha. Spence and Roby are out. Spence is OSU's best pass rusher. Roby is OSU's best cover corner. Boyd and Watkins should have a big game whether Clemson wins or not.

Urban Meyer is 4-0 in BCS Bowl Games. Dabo Swinney is 0-1 in BCS Bowl Games. Clemson did get washed by FSU at home. A lot of Clemson players are looking ahead to the Draft. Watkins, Bryant, Beasley, Boyd. The same could be said of Shazier for the Buckeyes.

I saw the line move on some books from 4.5 and 3.5 to 2.5 with Spence and Roby out. I'm picking the Buckeyes to win by 3 through Brax and Hyde. OSU narrowly covers the spread.

This wasn't the Gamecocks at full strength that Mizzou slugged it out with and barely lost to that we're talking about here...

People forget South Carolina was playing with their back-up QB in addition to being down 14-17 points before the ol ball coach tossed Conner Shaw in there at 65% in the middle of the 3rd quarter an he lead them back to win @ Mizzou.

I understand why one likes Mizzou though, on paper they look great, I just personally think Mizzou is extremely overrated.

Ellington and Davis still produced regardless of Dylan at Q.

It's a pick 'em game. I'm riding Mizzou because of DGB.

leaning towards ohio state -3. May just look to buy live. I'm hoping Clemson scores first buy ohio state +3 or something like that or ML.

Love the discussion guys. That's wassup.

I'm pretty cold right now so I should really sit out but there's only a handful of games left soooooo....degeneration!

I think I like Clemson and Ok st. OSU/Clemson feels like a game that will be decided by a FG so probably buy hook somewhere depending who you go with.

I haven't dug in yet though, so I need to get back to finding that one angle that calls to me. Hopefully I find it.

That's probably going to happen if Clemson receives the kickoff. First play, Boyd deep ball to Sammy (or Bryant) to go up 7-0.

Armani Reeves has his hands full deputizing for Roby against Watkins.

Davis actually had one of his worst games of the year that night IMO, he fumbled twice in Mizzou territory and one of those was in the red zone... pretty sure he got benched for a series or two. Don't be fooled by his receiving yards either, he got a 80% of those on two catches, Bruce Bruce was the only dude locked in on the offensive side of the ball.

But I'll let it go from here, I agree it's a pick em' game, but your not giving me a solid reason to not take OK. State... just saying you're riding with "D. Green-Beckham" who's going to be going against the best corner in the nation just isn't swaying me much. Josey is the only dude that really worries me in this match-up.

Been on NBA all week, but outside of the Warriors game and lack of College basketball tonight there's nothing that really appeals to me, I'm just going all BCS tonight...

@651Paul where you at with them over/under's my G? Don't let one fat L hold you down from getting back to the basics.
