ATP Tennis, Milos Raonic -4
-108
Melzen at +190 against Kudla is a good bet as well. I made a small wager on it a few minutes before the match. Large wager on +4.5

Kudla is 6-20 on ATP hard courts & 1-6 in Grand Slams not Wimbledon. He's also 0-6 this year against lefties.

Yea, I don't play much tennis, but I use some of my own information + twitter when I do. The first alarming stat was how Kudla was such a heavy favorite and he lost both matches to Melzer. That caught my eye, so I start doing a little more research just to see if something was up. I saw that Melzer form was better winning his last 3 matches, while Kudla was coming off an L. A few tennis cappers I follow was on the over in that match, but I liked the value in the spread more considering Melzer owned him previously. The information I got on Kudla was mainly from Twitter. I just searched for Melzer /Kudla and found some interesting stats

When it comes to a sport I'm not big on, I need to get some cheat notes from Twitter and compile all the data to make my own decision. Made some good money on the spread, but wish I put a little more on the ML now

side discussion:

What do you guys think about Bum tonight @ LAD? I think the Giants hit Greinke a little better than LAD hitting Bum when comparing the bats for both teams. I definitely see Bum going 8/9 innings tonight.

I'm playing SFG/LAD for the under in my parlay.

MadBum probably goes 8, final score 3-1 Giants.

You guys need local bookies.  Everyone ******* and moans about their online book in some capacity or another.  Never had an issue with a local.

I got a local but I love betting international basketball so online is the way to get that fix

Still searching for a local have yet to encounter one :smh:

My locals are hood joints where all the dope boys go...ive seen some of the stupidest parlays ever for large amounts of money

Good thing is them fools move lines so if it's in my favor then I get better value than online ...especially in basketball

 I know where you go :nerd:

FIU at UCF.....FIU +14. This is a gift right here, starting the betting season off right with this win.

On that as well, might put a little something on the ML as well

I actually wouldn't be surprised if FIU wins this straight-up. There is no way they are losing by 2 plus touchdowns that's for sure.

did FIU suddenly get a bunch of transfers or somethin?

...why u guys high on them against the knights?

i know their not supposed to be as good as last few yrs, but its only 2 TDs...

what u see?

Thought's about TCU -14? Also may put a small wager on WKU -2.... I made a decent amount off them last year

FIU actually has a pretty good defense. They were the 5th ranked team in the country last year in takeaways. The all-stars on that defense are back this year which also returns 8 starters. Their QB is young, but experienced. Tight-end Jonnu Smith is quietly one of the best in the country. FIU has to get better offensive line play though.

UCF. Who will QB Justin Holman throw to? The top four pass-catchers from last year are GONE. Their leading WR this year returning has 12 catches for 135 yards. The strongest group on the Knights is their defensive line. Their best defensive tackle, Demetris Anderson is out for the season with a knee injury. The Knights have several holes to plug with the loss of the top five tacklers and the ENTIRE secondary. Their top corner back heading into this season was supposed to be Chris Williams. He is out indefinitely recovering from a gunshot wound.

I'm going with defense with this one, and overall the Golden Panthers have a much more aggressive and fast defense. This defense is set. UCF has way too many questions on offense to justify me taking the 2 touchdowns.

I figure this might be the best place to ask this question...

I'm flying into Vegas next Friday. but my flight doesn't land until like 11 PM, are sportsbooks in the casinos open 24/7? I tried to google it but different sites show different answers

I want to make bets for the Sunday week 1 games but I'm going to be gone all day Saturday (not staying on strip). So I was hoping to make all my bets late Friday night if possible...
