Moving this to this page, because I want to hear some thoughts you guys have on these games and others. We need to put our minds together and beat Vegas. More analysis!

Some interesting lines out there...After week 2 I'm a little wary.

Falcons +1.5 vs. Buccaneers - After Monday night, you know the public is going to drool all over that line. It's fishy, and I don't even like the Falcons that much to fall into the trap. STAY AWAY

Ravens -4 vs. Rams - Both teams coming off of disappointing losses, but Vegas only favoring Baltimore by 4 is reminiscent of last week and we saw how that game turned out against Tennessee. After the two extremes we've seen from Baltimore in the first two weeks it's hard to gauge the path this team is headed. STAY AWAY.

Lions -3.5 vs. Vikings - Vikings. Hmmm...I'll tell you this. With the way they played in the first half of both games to start the year, they are a highly efficient and very productive football team capable of the playoffs. It's just that in the second half they relax and become way too complacent. Two weeks in a row of this is enough and I do not expect that again this week. If it is, then fire Frazier right now. A divisional game, where the Lions are everybodies new favorite and will pound this line, and the Vikings are still a better team at home. STAY AWAY

Jets -3 vs. Oakland - Dominating performance by the Jets over the Jags. Whoopty doo. Shonne Green is a bum. Sanchez is horrible. Mangold is out and he dictates a lot of the calls Sanchez makes behind center. He's a huge crutch for the kid that most people may not realize. The backup center isn't even supposed to be the backup because that guy got hurt too. New York to Oakland. That flight has got to suck. DO NOT STAY AWAY...GO OAKLAND BIG!!!!

Steelers -10.5 vs. Colts - Not sold on Pittsburgh after a huge blowout loss week 1 and the win against Seattle means nothing. Besides, this line is projecting Kerry as the starter. I don't think he ends the game as the quarterback. Things could get weird in this game. STAY AWAY

Added the Jets -9 late... went 4-1 on the week and 12-3 overall.  Trying to ONLY bet the games I feel extremely confident about, and if it wasnt for a backdoor cover on AM, it was a clean sweep.
It's early, but so far this week I like Washington @ home vs. Cal, should find it at -1.5 and Steelers again, -10.5.  Like the Lions at -3.5 and Balt -4 as well, but not enough to make them a strong play quite yet.  I'll post my final picks later on this week.  BOL fellas

I do think the Falcons will cover in this game, because they moved the ball well against the Eagles and the Falcons gave the Eagles the ball twice in their territory. But I agree, stay away because the Falcons aren't a good road team and the Bucs seem to be pretty inconsistent.
Ravens -4 is a cover for me because I am a believer in the Ravens this year, it's hard to gauge a team based on two games, but Flacco played like $*%% last game and Kenny Britt was destroying their secondary. The Rams couldn't stop a Giants team who didn't even play good, I definitely think the Ravens bounce back and cover.

Vikings have looked decent at time, but whatever. the Lions are rolling. It is obviously a going to be a major public play, and for good reason. Staying away could be a good idea because vegas makes money off of the public. They always know more, but it isn't as scary to me as the Jets/Oakland and Falcons game. Mcnabb is still your quarterback, and you still are lacking good WR.

Jets game i wouldn't touch because of Mangold

I don't believe in that Steelers offensive line, but the seahawks might be better then the colts and that was 24-0. Not saying I would bet it, but they might only have to score 2 touchdowns to cover that spread. That's how bad the Colts offense is. So what if Kerry Collins doesn't finish? You think someone else will be able to handle that Steelers defense without ever dealing with it? I wouldn't bet against the Steelers in this.

- I agree, the Falcons got a serious confident boost, and it took another 4th quarter late comeback for the Buccs to win. Blount got it going which was good but I think momentum is on the Falcons side. That being said this could easily be decided by 3-6 pts, regardless enough to cover. Look for Roddy White to have a big game.

- If you play Oakland big vs the Jets I'll pray for you, there is no reason to simply go against the Jets. Oakland has a horrid defense, as shown last week and the week before, giving up pts by the minute. The loss of Mangold is huge, and Greene does suck, but Sanchez could easily burn Oakland's secondary with Holmes and Plax deep + Keller in the red zone. I'd stay away entirely if not take the -3 and bet NY.

- F the Vikings, they suck, I don't wanna hear it. The Lions have proven 2 weeks in a row their offense is high powered and there defense can make stops. I like the Lions by 13+ the Vikings will have NO answer for Megatron, and Bureleson is the Welker of the Lions.

on the ATL/TB and MN/DET games, you have to realize that sometimes division rival games are a different beast alltogether.  I'm not touching any of those games.  Instead I am doing the worst thing I can possibly do, but I am such a sucker I cant help myself.

I am chasing on my team this week (blood money... again) and betting on the Chargers.  For the sake of their season and my sanity, they cannot make the same stupid mistakes this week against KC.  They need to come out and womp on a terrible injured KC team and drop em by 10+

I am playing a 2.4u teaser play on SD -8.5 and NE -2.5 (division game against Buff so I think it will be closer than expected, but I'm thinking Brady and Co. cover a FG)

On college, I am also going against any logic or fundamentals, and betting purely based on stupidity.  I've bet against LSU twice this season and lost twice.  For that reason alone I am taking LSU -5.5 for 1.2u.

Hopefully some of you better players can drop real knowlege on a joker like me and help me come up with some other solid plays for the weekend.
