Added the Jets -9 late... went 4-1 on the week and 12-3 overall. Trying to ONLY bet the games I feel extremely confident about, and if it wasnt for a backdoor cover on AM, it was a clean sweep.Originally Posted by WstCoastGotti

I do think the Falcons will cover in this game, because they moved the ball well against the Eagles and the Falcons gave the Eagles the ball twice in their territory. But I agree, stay away because the Falcons aren't a good road team and the Bucs seem to be pretty inconsistent.Originally Posted by 651akathePaul
Moving this to this page, because I want to hear some thoughts you guys have on these games and others. We need to put our minds together and beat Vegas. More analysis!
Some interesting lines out there...After week 2 I'm a little wary.
Falcons +1.5 vs. Buccaneers - After Monday night, you know the public is going to drool all over that line. It's fishy, and I don't even like the Falcons that much to fall into the trap. STAY AWAY
Ravens -4 vs. Rams - Both teams coming off of disappointing losses, but Vegas only favoring Baltimore by 4 is reminiscent of last week and we saw how that game turned out against Tennessee. After the two extremes we've seen from Baltimore in the first two weeks it's hard to gauge the path this team is headed. STAY AWAY.
Lions -3.5 vs. Vikings - Vikings. Hmmm...I'll tell you this. With the way they played in the first half of both games to start the year, they are a highly efficient and very productive football team capable of the playoffs. It's just that in the second half they relax and become way too complacent. Two weeks in a row of this is enough and I do not expect that again this week. If it is, then fire Frazier right now. A divisional game, where the Lions are everybodies new favorite and will pound this line, and the Vikings are still a better team at home. STAY AWAY
Jets -3 vs. Oakland - Dominating performance by the Jets over the Jags. Whoopty doo. Shonne Green is a bum. Sanchez is horrible. Mangold is out and he dictates a lot of the calls Sanchez makes behind center. He's a huge crutch for the kid that most people may not realize. The backup center isn't even supposed to be the backup because that guy got hurt too. New York to Oakland. That flight has got to suck. DO NOT STAY AWAY...GO OAKLAND BIG!!!!
Steelers -10.5 vs. Colts - Not sold on Pittsburgh after a huge blowout loss week 1 and the win against Seattle means nothing. Besides, this line is projecting Kerry as the starter. I don't think he ends the game as the quarterback. Things could get weird in this game. STAY AWAY

Ravens -4 is a cover for me because I am a believer in the Ravens this year, it's hard to gauge a team based on two games, but Flacco played like $*%% last game and Kenny Britt was destroying their secondary. The Rams couldn't stop a Giants team who didn't even play good, I definitely think the Ravens bounce back and cover.
Vikings have looked decent at time, but whatever. the Lions are rolling. It is obviously a going to be a major public play, and for good reason. Staying away could be a good idea because vegas makes money off of the public. They always know more, but it isn't as scary to me as the Jets/Oakland and Falcons game. Mcnabb is still your quarterback, and you still are lacking good WR.
Jets game i wouldn't touch because of Mangold
I don't believe in that Steelers offensive line, but the seahawks might be better then the colts and that was 24-0. Not saying I would bet it, but they might only have to score 2 touchdowns to cover that spread. That's how bad the Colts offense is. So what if Kerry Collins doesn't finish? You think someone else will be able to handle that Steelers defense without ever dealing with it? I wouldn't bet against the Steelers in this.
