***$$$-NT Sportsbook Thread vol.2- Props props props props props props... EVERYBODY!

I was hoping Cal would actually do something in the redzone. All those chances to score and nothing to show for it. Just one TD would've put me at 3-1 for the day instead of 1-3. I gotta hand it to Vegas though. Those dudes are damn good at what they do.

1.5 units... Oregon offense getting it going in the 1st. I love my chances if they keep Cal to FG's every trip.

i think id take oregon -35.

im putting 50$ on it.
Fresh, I've been lowkey tailing your picks (with a twist), and I want to thank you my man.  Your insight on Stanford/UCLA last week convinced me to tease that game and cover (even though UCLA did everything possible to give it away).  I was going to sit out yesterday but then decided last minute to go 1u on Oregon and followed it up with a 2u 2H play.  Thank you sir for helping to dig me out of out that Brewers hole I dug myself into.

i know most of you guys dont bet MMA, but there are some like Fraji that does.

If you guys bet with locals who have MMA lines, take a look at the line on Stipe Miocic v. Joey Beltran.

I hope it doesnt cripple me but I think I am going to load up on Miocic. I have 4u @ -210 so far and if the line holds (my book is slow to update MMA lines) I may jump on for 4 more.

With Beltran you know what you get. Undersized HW Brawler with some decent takedown defense. This is Miocic's first time in the big show but you can find clips of some of his past fights in regional shows online. Kid looks good. They are hyping him to be the next big thing in the HW division. Dude is a former D1 college wrestler and Golden Gloves champion. I've heard comparisons of him as a Crocop+Wrestling. If dude is half as good as he is hyped to be, he should be able to get through Beltran.

I need to peek at Oregon's schedule. I feel like there will be huge value coming up in betting against them. I just don't feel they're the same team from last year.

A team like Washington, who I have been following all year, will be able to score all game with Oregon. Even a Washington State. Stanford and USC are more known so the lines will probably reflect that, but still should keep it close. Stay posted.

Cards +163
Stl/Phi Under 7 -120

...might play Boise Over 40(but still thinking about it)

be back later w/ an update on that and tomorrow picks...

LETS MAKE SOME $$$ this weekend!

...think im gonna have to big ML dog plays(1 in NFL/1 in NCAAF)

gonna lay of the Boise game after i found this trend supporting Fresno:

"Home dogs of 7-21 points winning less than 75% of their games are 18-0 ATS in games 3-7 revenging a loss in which they scored 0 and allowed 14+ pts, against teams winning 87% or more of their games. This same system predicted Washington's great cover (and outright win) over USC last season, as a 19 points home underdog."

Thanks man. 5dimes is the only place I can play this... Line on there is -245 for Miocic.  Ive heard about this guy but dont know a ton about him.  Hopefully the line gives me 2-1 at least and I can use it.

My betting card for UFC 136. Hopefully I dont get too drunk at the bar and place some stupid last minute bets

Gray Maynard 1u to win 1.2u @ +120
Zhang Tiequan 1.56u to win 1.2u @ -130
Stipe Miocic 4.2u to win 2u @ -210 (I may load up some more on this one if the price drops back down to around -210)

Quick analysis of my picks

Maynard pick - Originally I was on Edgar because of his superior speed and footwork. The more I think about it, the more I believe that this is actually a coin flip fight. I bet Maynard becase he is getting slight odds which gives +EV. Had Maynard not gassed in their last fight, he could have taken that one and been the champ. I think this time around he will be a bit more calm and collected and has less of a chance of having an adrenaline dump. Maynard has legit power in his hands and is freakishly strong. Edgar had some spectacular takedowns against Maynard in their last fight, but you have to keep in mind that it was against a badly gassed Maynard. I dont know if he will take Maynard down like that again. If Maynard does not gas but stays aggressive he has a real path to victory here. By no means is this a lock or anywhere near it. I just bet this fight cause Im a degen.

Zhang - Zhang is Zuffa's ticket into the lucrative China market. Zuffa NEEDS Zhang to win and therefore will give him favorable matchups. Elkins is no slouch, but I havent seen anything from him that makes me think he should be a favorite against Zhang. Zhangs wrestling is decent and his submission game is pretty solid. On the feet, Zhang should be able to keep up, if not outclass Elkins. Elkins was on the right side of a bogus refs decision his last time out, so maybe that will be in the minds of the judges this time around. The Zhang line continues to drop a bit, if you can get it at or around -120 I think its good. I bought at -130 which I think is fair, but if you can get it at close to even money or even get odds (if money comes in late on Elkins), it is a great value bet.

Miocic - explained above already.

Good luck all.
