spreads, moneylines, the occasional parlay (but I don't rely on them)
I hate to sound like a jerk, but if you've got to ask a ton of questions about this stuff, I wouldn't dump too much $$$ into it just yet. Just do it for fun, feel it out, and once you get the hang of how the swings go and stuff, you should be fine.

i've seen like 5-6 Ivy games in person this season, that has def helped me know the teams and tendencies better.

The smaller conferences in the NCAA are alot easier (IMO) to cap then the bigger teams and the NBA.
To me, that's where most of my earnings have came from. I usually won't play a big game unless I'm confident in the pick.
