Are you sure that's the payout for your parlay? If so, you need a new sportsbook lol. On 5dimes, an 8 team parlay is 175.43 : 1 payout.

actually i'm on 5dimes.. i just went with a lot of heavy favorites which i think skews the payout. considering that i only had to make like 3 tough calls out of the 8 (and they're all looking fairly solid right now), i'll take a 17:1 payout. especially since i just started betting on sports 2 weeks ago and have only had moderate success so far.
