NT Vegas heads, Whens a good month/days to go? (looking to book)

Whats up NT, Im looking to book a trip to Vegas with some of my boys, we were looking maybe the month of August. Is that a decent month to go? Also, looking atlike Thursday-Sunday type deal. I never been there, i've read a lot of reviews on the hotels and stuff but everything is so two sided. What do you guyswith experience of going their recommend ?
