a wise man once said to me in a barbershop i dont chase it, but every so often its thrown at me, and sometimes i catch. but no pursuit or anything on my part.


I havent been in a relationship since 08 for this exact reason. I have dated exclusively for 3 months here and there, but never could get the title incase i needed to spread my wings.
i just met a girl though out here in so cal, and it may be love at first sight. I already cut off all my other prospects and smashables and cut buddies. so hears to hoping. she blindsided me
& i was gonna make a thread about this, but ill just tuck in away in here.

so i pleasured her in the car the other day, then i proceeded to get cranium, then out of nowhere she started crying, and said it was cause everything was so perfect she was afraid to lose me?

that act of emotion still has me like ...??? LOL WUT... and shes a virgin, so we been doing everythign else togethere except smashing. cause she wants to marry me, i think im in love. but its only been a week. but it was at first sight of this woman.  never happened to me before and she said it never happpend to her before.

We need to stop acting like men = women. Politically, emotionally, intellectually yes, but physically? No. That's why it's 'ok' for men to cheat. Women cheats, she gets pregnant now a man is unknowingly raising another mans child. Man cheats, gets girl pregnant, he can dip. Not to mention, before the women's lib movement, girls would be sent to the insane asylum if they've pregnant and weren't married, not a thing happened to dudes because they can deny it, there is still that stigma as girls still get pregnant (unexplainable in 2014...like really contraception is out there and pulling out isn't illegal...blows my mind) and a single female raising a child is hard. And biologically, generally, a girl can't get pregnant for at least 9 months, dudes can get girl pregnant whenever.

I've never cheated, not built that way, but I'd never condem another. There are many reasons to cheat, y'all haven't had sex in a year...old dude is beating her...shotgun wedding. People cheat because they are unhappy, divorce isn't easy and some strange makes one happy. Married, one box for the next...forever (in theory) you gotta be on your best behavior at all times...statistically not in ones favor. Forever is a mighty long time.

Just keep a clear head man. I got with my girl after knowing her for about a month (chilled everyday), but we did nothing sexual until we got together. We are going on 3 years now, but I didnt think I was in love a week in. Like I said just keep a clear head and remember you all aren't committed yet.

Honestly, some of the responses on this thread.

The woman is married. Don't even put yourself in a situation like that. As others have said, there's way too many women out there to just risk your neck for one.

Personally, I don't think I would be able to live with myself if I tempted a woman to cheat on her husband.

On issues such as cheating, gotta ask, would you want this to happen to you? Which..it depends...one time nothing brought back (especially kids/aids dealbreaker) i don't care...long term emotional cheating, ***** be gone.

The second part 'is it morally wrong (respectful to the universe)?' is a bit more difficult and on this board the world is dividing.

Relationships are hard, and far to many boil down to the women telling the male every impulse he has is wrong. Of course, there has to be more to relationships.

successfully navigating through life until death is the only point of life...dark I know...but a few smiles along the way is all we can hope for. Now, if you can manage that dolo, hopping from bird to bird, then why ever get into a relationship? Society has decided, the laws literally make it easier for couples, that we should pair off before our impending doom...society has decided, but wether or not to get in a relationship is an individual decision. A lot of people are in terrible situations.

Marriage is the only promise made in youth which we are forced to honor our entire lives, but we allow youth to be an excuse for everything else, you can get out of long term contracts signed before twenty one, but not marriage. That's why people cheat, they were married before they were ready, you're divers license doesn't reflect your age, your maturity, only experience tells your maturity...and cheaters don't have the experience required for marriage...should we fault them for decisions made in their youth? Ostracize them for finding a brief moment of happiness, in an otherwise bleak existence? It is far easier to wag a finger than it is to.


Would I cheat? Idk...and with this girl...doubtful, if they divorced...maybe lol but I'm not wishing it on them, I wish peace and happiness and divorce may provide that. since they don't have kids or a house and both were in school, they're divorce is a complicated break up

One of my ex's cheated with me about 6 months before she got married.

Like I knew I would never marry her but I cared about her when I was with her. Who knows I could have easily been in dude's shoes and probably was while we were together.

Her dude seems like I good dude she doesn't work and dude basically takes care of her.

After that I vowed to stop cheating and I would never help someone cheat knowingly.

Men and women all have desires. I think about cheating every day but at the point I'm at with my girl I just can't do it.

It ain't even about getting caught its the guilt even if nobody I knows I know.

Hell the desire to stop cheating is how I knew it was time to start planning the rest of my life with this woman.

I had 3 girls at once when I was 17-19. 1 was a gf of 3 years, one was a gf I really liked and the other was a freak.

I wanted to break up with my main gf but I didn't want to hurt her bc I was her first love ( I tried breaking up with her but she wouldn't accept it ) so I let the relationship fizzle down to where she broke up with me. we're good friends now, eventually became best friends/fwb with the freak and the other one vanished.

I just honestly believe if the guilt keeps you from cheating on her. She's the one.
