it really depends. when food network and hgtv was on strike that lasted for a week or so. when channel 7 threatened to strike they were only off for a couple of hours. fox is a staple of tv for the fact you got a majority of the best shows (american idol, glee, simpsons), plus nfl football. if they do strike it will be very temporary, couple of hours at best.
