So I had an interview set up today. I checked the mta site for the trip planner thing. I made it so that I would get to the place 15 min earlier than interview time. Got to the station 15 minutes before my train was suppose to leave because I was hoping to get an earlier train. Time goes by and no train comes. My train was suppose to leave at 10:51 and there was one train that came but never stopped and I left the station at 11:20 because I wasn't able to make the interview on time.

I wish they had those things that tell you how long until the next train at every station

Nah, The A or the J. sometimes it feels like it's still the 80's or 90's on that train.

On another note, I've ridden the BART, CTA, MARTA and I gotta say....NYC is continually behind the pack when it comes to public transportation. And for them to be asking these absolutely ridiculous increases in fare prices from customers without an actual seen benefit....idk man....I hate that **** so much.

IMO

The DIRTIEST train is the E and that last stop by Jamaica Ave is pure piss poor New York. The **** disgust me man :x :x

MTA and New York really got to clean those subways and up the technology in them but they probably never will have the chance since people ride it too frequent

New York got the most struggle of Subways and Transportation

• I'm gonna write this stuff down, so keep this info coming. Let's talk about good/bad times for certain areas/stops; what's dangerous, what's always late, etc.

• I always thought it was a general rule that if you have to rely on public transportation that you wanna plan to be an hour early for any important appointments and expect to barely make it there on time.

Worst train has to be the C and the 2 train. Those trains SUCK!

Thank God I never have to take those trains ever again.

I agree. There is no excuse for that price increase. You go to any other city and you feel like your in 2013. You ride MTA and you still feel like your in the 80s

I like the 2,3,4,5,L train (brooklyn) as they have the timers in the station.

I hate the C. Never on time

J,D,N,R are cool. Have had no problem with them.

nj transit says hi

brb 753 not showing up at all
brb detour pushes schedule back
brrb always late
brb once every hour
brb brb

N, 7, F are best lines IMO

Never had a problem with time, 7 also finally got updated carts.

Dray here

The a or the C train
The stations in far rockaway, and the fact that they are often late or have service changes and or not running....
Plus one of the few trains that haven't been updated since the 90s....

The 6 is the worst.

The A the worst?

. I take it everyday and its perfect.

You can't compare other systems across the US to the MTA for the fact that they cover much less ground.

For me it is. For interviews I had last month, I'd leave the house an hour and half before said interview time to give myself time to walk from Times Square if the F train wasn't across the platform at Jay St.

That C train is always packed and slow.

Stations with the timers in them > > > >

The ppl on the 7 are the worst though

This one time I took it to flushing
There was delay and this homeless guy took down his pants and took a dump with no damns given :x

And to the ppl saying leave an hour early, it's pretty cold nowadays so I don't want to hang around outside

Broadway Junction use to be jux central. I agree with everyone saying the A train is the worst, the robberies I've seen happen on that line :{

I didn't know Broadway Junction was that real. I go into there from the LIRR everyday.

Ya can't compare NYC subway system to other states...they might be cleaner but this is the blueprint man...NYC subway system is a work of art...it literally connects an entire city...you can find a subway literally anywhere.

As far as being cleaner and safer...well we fall behind the curve in that one...but from my experiences back in my day and from witness accounts now, the 2 reigns supreme as literally the worst line in exsistence...it literally covers every rachet neighborhood NY has to offer...that's the Ratchet Express right there

1 train's the best. Other than that, I don't care.

Red line's the best line in Boston by far

The G train is a couple of carts long, **** stops at the middle of the station and you gotta run to the middle to get on :lol

Late night E train is the wildest :lol . I was 16 coming home at 2am and there was a ****** asking for cigs, drunk dudes pissing in between 2 carts while it was moving, and like 4 people dancing :rollin . I was so scared but fascinated at the same time.

use to give me my afternoon jog

Man, I remember when they first cut down the cars on the G :lol

The E pisses me off for the fact that between 5-7 at Kew Gardens, about 5 F trains will pass before one E.

For those who say NYCMTA is behind in terms of rail, then you haven't been to LA.

I work for the rail system here and we only have 6 lines. 6. Our cars are either old or POSs and we do not (cannot) provide 24 hour service. We cover 84 Sq miles of track across LA county, which isn't bad because it isn't condensed like NYC but the more I work here, the more I'm in support of rail as opposed to bus and we vastly need to expand....it's happening slowly but surely though.
