either staying around Wall street or in NJ

not paying $6 for something that cost them 27¢

last time i was there we ended up at a bar in midtown drinking after dinner 'cause my uncle and cousin wanted to see a bank playing there and it hurt my wallet buying rounds of 10 oz. beers in plastic cups

seems like lower east side is the area for cheap booze??

Wicked Willies is right around the corner of where OTW is. Bleecker St. between LaGuardia and Thompson.
McSorley's is in the Lower East Side - 7th street b/w 2nd and 3rd.
Jeremy's is right by South Street Seaport - Front St. and Beekman
Nice Guy Eddie's is on the corner of 1st st. and Ave. A

You should also check out the beer gardens in Queens and Brooklyn.
