NYE in Toronto.. worth it?

Potentially heading to Toronto for NYE... so I ask you, is it worth it?

The answer depends on a few things:

- first, where are you coming from? If it's anywhere smaller than Toronto (i.e., Buffalo, London, Hamilton, Guelph, etc.), then definitely... Only Chi,Montreal and NYC are comparable (or superior) in the general vicinity...

- you got money and a plan? Cuz without both, you're somewhat screwed.

But the more planning you do, the less money you'll hafta spend. But don't get it twisted, either -- NYE is one of those events where the money fliesout yer pockets like it's got wings, no matter how awesome you plan...

Having said that, who cares about NYE? To me, it's like the one time that peeps who don't generally party party, if that makes sense... But Toronto isstill a great city.

make sure you have a proper winter coat.
it gets mad cold standing outdoors for hours. thats only if you wanna go to city hall (toronto's version of the TIMES SQUARE countdown)

the parties are alright. clubs get mad packed. but it should be a nice change from what you're used to.
