NYPD cops got drenched wit water over heatwave VOL. good sports about it?

Why this look like one of those conspiracy theory videos? :lol All jokes aside, back in the gap we used to ride around the hood with water guns and water balloons and let people walking have it. It was hot and you would be dry by time you got to where ever you were walking. BUCKETS of water is OD, tho. I'd be ready to fight especially if I had my phone on me.

idk, if people had somewhere to go and didnt wanna get drenched, its annoying.

but throwing it on the police :lol
I respect that they walked away like that.
a little too much, looks funny, but it probably isnt. looks like harassment. especially civilians.

This is classic NYC ****.... back in the day the cops would get drenched with the Johnny pump then come back with the FDNY to close it... we would just open it as soon as they left...

I commend them for keeping their composure. Getting hit with a bucket and poured while making an arrest?

I saw that red bucket hit white cop head and immediately I thought everyone was about to gun down.. it was cool before that point lol, this could’ve ended bad with the wrong cops.

I love how they kept wetting that chick for snitching, it’s just water ma, you’ll be alright, now hold more of this water.

my sentiments exactly.

da cops getting doused with water walking away smiling was fine, good sportsmanship... throwing a empty bucket while makin an arrest? ehh not so nice guys. :lol

as a kid i would of thought this is great fun. As an adult with bills and real life problems I’d be heated about the chance of my phone getting drenched and not working. No ones paying for that except me in this sort of scenario. I guess it’s true what they say - If you’re not a liberal when you’re 25, you have no heart. If you’re not a conservative by the time you’re 35, you have no brain

Screenname to post ratio :lol Growing up my parents house was on a hill on an awkward corner and we had this porch type thing above our garage. I remember when I got the big bazooka super soaker, my boys and I would sit on the porch and spray cars as they drove by. Fortunately no one got hurt but in retrospect that was incredibly dumb and dangerous :lol

it depends. did she show "good sportsmanship?":lol:

these fools essentially assaulted police officers, women on the street etc
assaulted with water technically
but yup the bucket throwing is assault

The union is irate at the Mayor for the conditions he created that made people bold enough to try it.

The narratives being built around this event in the media are very telling.

Scary stuff.

Partisans participating in partisanship for profits.

Officers behaved commendably.

Red bucket dude needs to be handled.

Could have gotten everyone charged with disorderly.

Always one.
