No disrespect to Rice...I got a lot of love for Jerry, but look at it like this...Jerry had two HOF QB's play through his career so that has to account foratleast a bit of his great success...now I'm not saying his success all lies on Montana and Young because Rice really did bust his !%$ and was probably oneof the hardest workin players ever...but who did Tim Brown have at QB?? Jeff Hostetler? Jeff George?? pfft..and he still put up some amazing numbers...the samecan be said about Cris Carter...now you can pick any of those 3 WR's and IMO say they are the best WR and I won't see anything wrong with it...[/url][/url]

f it was great the Raiders wouldnt be top 20. Notorious meaning clasic teams that are heard most in football. If you wanna tell me that Oakland is more notorious than Americas team are the legendary Packeers you crazy

And as far AM 1 FIEND, you STAY hating on the Raiders in every thread with the same pictures. Yeah, we may not be that good, but we'll be back on top
sooner than later.
So enjoy this time now before sunday. Before the inevitable happens. Oddly enough though, i'll be rooting for these Giants simply because my Patriots
hate runs DEEP.
OH and BTW, Eli did NOT lead his team to the Super Bowl. The Giants D did. Eli just managed to not screw it up like always.

niners gave the patriots the 4th round pick that was used to acquire moss from the raiders.

xCautioNx; I am not claiming that the Raiders are in the same category as the Cards or Lions. You guys do have a rich tradition thatI respect. I just like to come in and give you guys a hard time. My mother used to work for the Raiders legal team and she along with my father were hugeRaiders fans. I just tend to rile the feathers of certain members, but all in all I don't have any problems with the Raiders.

My offseason wish list.
1.) Franchise Aso. I have the feeling Aso doesn't really want to be here anymore. I think a turnaround season this year will give him the confidence toremain here. He'll get top 5 money, and we can hold off signing him until next year.
2.) Draft Dorsey or Ellis. If somehow Dorsey doesn't go #1 barring a trade for McFadden he should be available to us @ 3 or 4. If not, go with Ellis.I'm assuming the Rams will draft OT Long and if we don't get 3, the Falcons may go QB, if not trade. McFadden is very tempting, VERY temptingconsidering most are touting him as good, or better that All Day. The ONLY reason I go McFadden here is if Fargas starts commanding some cash. If IM Al Davis,I'm getting rid of Jordan and Rhodes this season. Jordan, obviously. Rhodes is due to make like 5 mil this year. We don't need to be paying that kindof money to Rhodes, period. If Fargas DOES sign (which I think he will) we'll have Fargas and the unproven Michael Bush in the back. Kiffin has alreadysaid Bush should be preparing on competing for the starting role. We may have our FRANCHISE back ala McFadden already waiting in the wings. And with our Zoneblocking a Fargas/Bush combo is perfect. We NEED a dominant DT. People hate on the Raiders but we were winning 6 games in the 4th that we lost. EASILY we couldhave won 4 of those on defensive line play alone. We have good DE's, a dominant run stopping DT will put our d over the edge.
- 2nd round I'd go either WR, LT, or SS. Porter is prob gone and Higgins hasn't caught up to NFL speed yet. All we have is Curry. I'm not a hugefan of drafting a WR because I'd rather go after Berriman or if ANY CHANCE Roy Williams, Larry Fitz, Chad "Al Davis..Call Me"Johnson or DonteStallworth. It takes receivers time to develop. With Huff moving back to free we desperately need a SS. Stu and Eugene aren't gonna do it. Or if theresanother good OT still available.
3.) I would try to tie up Burgess this year. He wanted money last year, didn't complain all season long and still had a good season through injury. Heneeds to get paid. He has a year left on his deal we should give the extension this year.

5.) Depending on which UFA's decide to leave I'm going after a good LT. JRuss is gonna need TIME TIME TIME. This is a very important spot we need tofill.
People don't understand the Raiders are a few players and a few plays from being in the playoffs. All they see is 4-12. I watched every game this year andit was painful to see us actually be competitive and lose on the stupidest mistakes.
Of course this ALLLL depends on JROCK playing the way we ALLLL hope he's gonna play. If I'm Russell I'm carrying that playbook everywhere I go forthe next 6 months, haha.
