Not all government activities have some alternative/evil cause. Give me a break.
What misinformation are you referring to? Do you mean the part where supporters said it would SAVE taxpayers money (
). Maybe you're referring to the part where Obama said people would have an option for private health care, and that he was not going to put private insurerers out business, but then if you read the actual legislation (apparantly politicians don't find this necessary anymore) makes it nearly impossible for private insurers to survive, makes it impossible for people to shop their private health insurance, makes it impossible to change their private health insurance, and forces any one who doesnt currently have private health care to take the government plan, as they are not allowed to get private insurance once healthcare is socialized (unless they had it already). Oh yea, and if you forget to pay your private health care bill, and the policy lapses, guess what, you are not allowed to get it back, off the the government program you go...Are these the misinformations you speak of? Perhaps you're talking about the rationing of healthcare, and how Obama and his supports scoff at the idea when its brought up, yet its there in black and white in the legislation. I can keep going, but I'll wait to see what it is you're actually talking about...
