The events where you need an access code .. I'm assuming those events aren't meant for the public? Or how the hell are you supposed to figure the access code out?

the access codes are usually posted by the people/company hosted the event. I'm assuming they make you enter a passcode so people don't bot the registration events, and everyone has to enter it manually
