I've heard a lot about this show and decided to watch it yesterday and was hooked. I watched all 12 episodes yesterday and can't wait for Thursday night. I searched and couldn't find an official thread so I figured I would get one started.
Last summer’s hit summer series Suits returns for season 2 this Thursday June 14 at 10/9C on USA Network. Series showrunner Gene Klein and stars Rick Hoffman and Max Topplin, took a few moments to answer some questions about what we can expect from the show in general this season, as well as what to expect from Louis and Harold, and gave us the scoop on the upcoming Suits webisodes.
On what fans can expect in season 2
Gene Klein: All the firm dynamics [will be] shifting. I think it’s safe to say that different people try to take advantage of it at different times.
Rick Hoffman: This year the dynamic in the office is quite different so far, the first five episodes especially, [with] what’s happening with Harvey, Louis and Mike. I’ve said before, one key word I would say that’s makes things a bit messier this year is leverage. Things are risky for everybody in this year and people use leverage against one another in many different ways.
On the Mike and Harvey dynamic and how it will play out in season 2
Gene Klein: I think the biggest idea that we’ve talked about since the beginning of the show in general, since the pilot, has been that this is Mike’s journey because the pilot is [told from] his point of view. So much of what happens in the firm you see through his eyes. So I think the series questions are in general for Mike [and] what’s going to happen to him. And I think for Harvey, because of the kind of guy that he [is], you don’t really question whether things are going to work out for Harvey or not. It seems on the face of it that things always work out for Harvey. But [for] the most part I think what you wonder about Harvey is what made him this way and I think that’s the fun. So I think going forward I think you will find out a lot about the relationship, but the essence is “what’s going to happen to Mike?
