I don't think we're better than our record. Implementing a player like Melo, & getting max results, can't happen in an instant. We're still learning our offensive rhythm, but I think chemistry between the two was instant and will only get better. Hopefully these guys realize their legacies are at stake here & make the necessary adjustments to what they bring to the table. I'm not talking, or expecting, some Dennis Rodman-like play, but SOMETHING more than what we have now.
I agree on the notion about Amar'e & opposing bum +#* PFs. Is it just me, or does anyone else think that he thinks that by outscoring the opposing player, he handled him? It looks like that is the mode he gets into when an opposing PF gives him a hard time early on in games. Instead of fighting back with his own defense, he just says let me get my J going & possibly yam it from time to time.

I know I haven't been the only one who's preached that this whole switch everything concept on D is never gonna fly later in April & May (& June
) I've just accepted this is one of Pringles few principles on D so I've stopped freaking out about this #%*+ that I know is gonna go down regardless of anything

We should be playing more zone. I don't care if the other team is shooting well. We seem to be more active in a zone when it comes to loose balls and causing turnovers.

If this team underachieves, things are gonna get ugly for him and Amare in the next three years. The novelty will flame out and after a couple first round exits, the fans won't be on their side.

it makes it even worse that pringles and the players do this nodefense crap because most of us grew up watching the hardcore defendingknicks of the 90's
and this isn't because we lost to the pacers. people been consistently hating on dantoni's "defense" for a $$+*%+@ decade. Through countless teams.

His system has never proven to be successful, the Knicks are the 07 Phoenix Suns 2.0, we need to fire him, we cannot win with him, especially now that we must become a half court team. D'Antoni has one way of coaching, sorry ladies and gentlemen, he's not changing that for anyone so let's change him. Who can we get to replace this fool?

Adlemen is the one that gets brought up alot. I hope Donnie isn;t too loyal to him. Some reports say that Dolan likes Dantoni more than Walsh. Can't tell what's true or not anymore.
We need someone who won't be afraid to yell at stat and melo. Motivate them. Bench them if they screw up. Someone like Popovich. But Dolan will never give someone the job security that Popovich or Sloan enjoyed. Unless he brings Isiah back haha.

seriously the team is so flawed to the point that they doesn't even yell out picks. I've seen that happen a good amount of times. Before and after the trade
