wouldnt it be pointless to get dwight since we already have rolo whos already solid? still think the biggest need besides a coach is a PG... the triangle is dumb and doesnt work so we need a pg regardless

^ Dwight goes through the motions everywhere he goes. He has a track record of being a pain Quintessential Dwight, right here....

No way should he be an option, injuries aside, he's not mentally conditioned to be a Knick.
I disagree, but that's another argument

Hey guys, the hornets have a chance to break our NBA record

Let's hope they don't do it....Knicks have to stay in the record books

:rollin

Here's the thing about Dwert, we don't want him. He's a mental ******, also, don't want Rambis, dude is a puppet. Also, we don't anyone who wants either of these guys.

Talking about Dwight Howard now? Hahaahahahahha, this thread kills me.

Guy has the mentality of a 15 year old girl. Has had a problem with coaches and players on every team he's been on. Why in the **** would we want him and he's not even the same player and he's not in his prime anymore. Dwight Howard and the Knicks would be one of the worst matches in NBA history. Now I think about it, make it happen. I hope it happens. Would be comedy all season long and wouldn't last more than one season. At least it would be a fun ride.

at this point in their careers, rolo offers more to a team than dwight. its not always about stats.

This even tho I feel like prime Dwight would do damage in the triangle.

They should have won that year in orlando with all the 3pt shooters

They honestly lost b/c they benched Rafer Alston to rush back Jameer Nelson & ruined the chemistry.

But **** Dwight. Don't care bout him.

In this thread's defense, none of the regulars brought up Dwert. That was a visitor. We all know what and who Dwert is. He would contribute nothing, and we have had enough of reclamation projects. Dude's history speaks for itself. He decimated a winning team in Orlando, so imagine what he would do to a team who is struggling to find their own identity, let alone struggling period. That Dwert suggestion was someone else's who isn't even a regular here.

Yep. Forget about Dwight's reputation, look at what he'll demand money wise and what his impact will be. We're much, much better off with Lopez at half the price, without the injury risks, for a peg less of production. Dwight may have higher upside, but he's not worth it, nor a necessity. Lopez is a great fit for this team. We need guards, not big men with back issues who want max contracts.

I don't even think Lopez's production is less than Dwight's. We started to figure out how to use Lopez around January so i'll use stats from January 1st on:

Lopez: 49 games, 12/8/1/2 on 56% from the field, 78% from the FT line

Howard: 43 games, 13/11/1/1.5 on 60% from the field, 47% from the FT line

Factor in Lopez playing every game, leadership, contract & fit with this current team choosing Lopez over Howard is a no brainer.
