It is pointless to go after Hamels, and giving up valued prospects in the process, when this team isn't really built to contend.  On top of that, it's no secret that he wants to come back home.
It was a good run, fast start, but any Dodger fan with a little bit of knowledge knew it wasn't going to last.

You get Hamels, you still don't have power at the corners, you're leadoff man and SS is clearly not ready.

Let this team make a run with what it has and go in on Hamels and Wright in the off season.  Along with a veteran SS.

Carlos Lee - Dodged a major bullet, 

The farm system is bottom 15 since it's been drained the past 3-4 years with awful trades.  Can't "go all in" with this team.  The core will be together for 3-4 years in their prime (Kershaw, Ethier, Kemp), build around it.
