Nah we don't want him. Though I guess he'd fit the big name hire. It would also make sense if the story of the boosters already contacting a prospective home run hire coach is true since it's no small secret that he's leaving Indy this year and he's been vocal about it.Do they have the money to afford someone like that?
Could Miami give Pagano a look?
Pagano was a SC GA back in the day...
Who do you guys actually want?

They want a pro-style coach. I guess Herman isn't necessarily spread-only. He's like Kelly in that he can adapt to his personnel, as seen with what he did with 3 different QBs at OSU.Who do you guys actually want?

You SC guys seem rather picky considering the slim pickings that are out there.
Herman could be a HR, but he'd also probably be a risk for a place like SC. The O he runs really doesn't fit your current personnel at QB, or really SC's "culture" either. SC's NFL pedigree has been a huge selling point for that program. Not sure you can still sell that running a college O.
What a shame...don't know how reliable this dude is, but

The Miami job elicits more polarizing views than almost any in Power 5. Coaches from Power 5 programs I talked with are split: some say it's still a great job, others have concerns about admin support and infrastructure. Two agents told me tonight that all things considered, UCF might be a better job than Miami.
With the best OL in CFB, a dominant RB, and the best deep threat in CFB.

But the greater fan base doesn't even want him to be honest. Fans don't know who they want, but they're also beginning to come around to the notion that NFL QB's are now spending 75% of their time out of the gun and barely any successful HS's run under center pro style anymore.

This Cristobal narrative is really getting pushed
Ariz was talking about Hue JacksonOur next coach is going to be Chud or Cristobal. Don't think the administration is going to roll the dice on another young outsider from a small school. This Cristobal narrative is really getting pushed
