If the Clippers beat SAS, it will say a lot about them IMO. I said this before, but I would consider them Finals bound if it happens. Their bench got to step up, though.

I understand exactly what you said in your post, if you misspoke about what you actually meant, that's another thingI don't think you quite understand what I'm saying . I didn't say anything was wrong with their offense.. My question is what happens when they are in the playoffs and meet a team where their offense gets toned down and it becomes more of a defensive battle? Looking at their record, you rarely saw them in the last 3 months get knocked in a mouth by a contending team. San Antonio did it. They out hustled them, toned their offense down and never looked back. I want to know how GSW responds in a defensive series. That's all.
And trying to compare these games where they blew Memphis out and looking at being locked in a playoff series is a lot different. For instance, you didn't hear anyone talk about TA being able to lock up Durant during the season last year. You really never heard it all. But, look at how effective he was against him last year in the playoffs? When you can sit these guys down and study tape on a team for days knowing that's your matchup for at least 4 games straight, A WHOLE LOT changes.
GSW blew Memphis out when Memphis played 15 games in 24 days and during a stretch Memphis wasn't playing well. Nice. They also blew them out when Memphis was without their starting backcourt. Good job. None of that matters when both teams are locked up in a series. I just think it would make one hell of a series, though.
I understand exactly what you said in your post, if you misspoke about what you actually meant, that's another thing
You didn't say anything was wrong with their offense, I'm asking you what your beef with it is? You seem to think that "it's going to come down to their offense", is that some sort of bad thing?
Golden State blew out Memphis with Gasol, ZBO, Allen, Lee and Conley. Nice job of trying to be slick
Gotta love the long list of excuses. My favorite - they werent playing well. Like their opponent doesnt deserve credit for that?
Dude mentions the Warriors in a majority of his posts. Its kind of weird how much my team is on your mind.
How would any team react when being shut down by an elite defense? When it comes down to their offense and they are being shut down by an elite defense? Your initial post stated something about their offense not being the most important thing and that it was their defense. That's why I brought it up.
And you're right. They blew them out when they played their 15th game in 24 nights. The Clippers blew the Grizz out, the Nuggets beat the Grizz by 30 with a healthy squad, Cavs, Spurs also blew the Grizz out. It doesn't mean a thing when they play in a series. Just like the Grizz sweeping Portland 4-0 during the season doesn't mean Memphis will automatically win the series.
Its not an excuse being given. Its showing that getting beat or blown out in a regular season game does have many other factors. If you want to make that translate into a playoff series going the same way, then so be it. That wouldn't make sense to me, though. This is the same forum where people laughed at Indiana fans talking about how they dominated the Heat during the regular season....I can bring up many other examples if you like. The same thing goes for everyone bashing the Hawks for beating up on contending teams like it doesn't mean anything because it was the regular season. Call a spade for a spade. If you think it means something, don't try to apply it to SOME matchups.
And maybe you should check my post history. I don't know who you are, but I'm sure the majority of my posts are related to the NBA in general and the Grizz.
How would any team react when being shut down by an elite defense? You are singling out Golden State for reasons I am still trying to figure out, I asked you 3 or 4 times now what exactly is wrong with Golden State's offense or what your beef with it is. My initial post made the point that their elite defense would be more important than how they score the basketball. They have proven they can score, from the outside and the inside.
Stop with your excuses. My point in bringing up the regular season series was to tell you that Memphis isn't some sort of kryptonite to the Warriors, the Warriors fared just fine against the Grizzlies
I dont need to check anything. You mention Golden State all the ******* time.
BHZ has 12880 posts. I bet we can take his last 1000 posts, and he only mentions the Warriors every 100-300 posts, for real for real
Wooster tripping.
GSW fans believe everything that comes out of their own mouths in regard to their team.
That surety has now crossed over into everyday life, giving them this false hope that everything they want to be true, is true.
Some GSW fans are going to need friends around when/if GSW gets bounced, to keep them safe from themselves, good news is, life can still go on after a loss this year in a playoff series
https://sports.yahoo.com/news/steph...if-they-don-t-win-championship-171843925.html
Stephen Curry says Warriors' season will be failure if they don't win title
"For the players, it is," Curry told Yahoo Sports. "No one will be happy for anything less. If we don't win our last game this season it's going to be a disappointing feeling, one where we felt like we fell short."
The Warriors enter the postseason with a league-high and franchise-record 67 wins, as well as home-court advantage throughout the playoffs. Golden State is led by Curry, the 3-point champion and a Most Valuable Player candidate. None of the Warriors was born when Rick Barry, Jamaal Wilkes and coach Al Attles led the franchise to the last title
I think he's mad at me that David Lee is out, again, for the Playoffs.
I'm not mad at that Based dude for claiming responsibility for OKC's demise once again.
Difference between reality and delusions of graduer, though.
godspeed Lee, come back quick G
Nevermind. I hope Curry and Company do well this postseason.
All that just to say the Warriors ultimately haven't been tested. Damn you BHZ
Sure.No you dont.Nevermind. I hope Curry and Company do well this postseason.
Take your bipolar *** to bed already.
