Not totally the same, but not totally different either in my opinion.

I do not think what KD did was wrong. They bargain for this and have rights.

Hold on, did anyone see Alan Williams' flop after the baby elbow Henry Sims threw at him. :lol

That joint was Baron Davis/Okur level bad man

So both players didn't take advantage of free agency to maximize their odds of a championship?  8o

One left a franchise that repeatedly failed to even get him a quality second option after he singlehandedly turned them from a lottery team to contenders.

He also went to a team that didn't just make two trips to the finals, he went with Bosh to form a totally new team akin to the Celtics with KG/Ray etc.

KD left a team that repeatedly put pieces around him and had even made a trade to make them even better right before he bolted. He never had to drag a team to the finals twice, he always had at least 1 (for a while, two) All NBA talent next to him and a perpetual DPOY candidate.

They had a horrible coach but finally replaced him with a coach who outcoached Pop and Steve Kerr IN THE PLAYOFFS in his FIRST YEAR.

OKC didn't fail KD even close to the way the Cavs did LeBron, they didn't fail him at all actually.

Not only that but his own bad play down the stretch was a huge reason they didn't reach the Finals last year.

KD still one of the best players of the generation and will continue to be great in GS and he will win rings but that doesn't change anything.

But yea sure if you wanna simplify it, do you.

I'm perplexed. Y'all spent the last few years criticizing the OKC offense and Russ' selfish play but KD can't? Y'all want the generic answers? Let him talk **** about OKC and Russ and let Russ talk **** back at him. Really wish their first matchup was earlier in the season. Reminds me of the first time Shaq and Kobe played against each other after the split.

That was never me.

I critized the coaching of Scott Brooks and Donovan proved in his first season that he's much better.

Russ play has dramatically improved the last two years, anybody who was complaining about him is just tryna further their own narrative.

Perfectly said

lol bron and KD are both **** for leaving their team. KD is just the bigger one. i find it funny when people try to justify why bron left and slander KD for leaving.

There are definitely levels to what they did.

Not sure why LeBron has to be a *****.

But KD, I can understand why anyone calls him one.

He essentially is a 3rd grader that got his *** whooped by a bully and decided to join dude's crew. And now he is talking **** to everyone else?

Come on. KD still has my support though. They will be fun to watch

just look at the minutes perkins, Kendrick got in the finals in 2012.. then remember he was playing on a torn groin.. and then look at the mins collison, nick got.. then look at the big men the heat had, and think about matchups

People were constantly talking about how kd would/should leave because of things like letting harden walk and keeping guys like perkins and Brooks around. They made plenty of bad decisions, finally got rid of Brooks and made a decent run but it was too late and the damage was already done. Had he left the first time instead of signing an extension nobody would fault him

funny that just 2 days ago, we got this from Durant:

“Man, whatever I say is going to be twisted up,” he said after going through a 90-minute practice. “So I can’t . . . I’m just going to say how I feel from now on. People that know me know what I mean, so it is what it is. Anything I say will be twisted up and be a headline. So it is what it is.”
