Our offense has been fine since Day 1, it's the defense that needs work. Today was a step in the right direction.

They went to the finals cuz the competition sucked in their conference. What don't you get about that? What happened when they got to the finals? They got swept or won one game.

Now compare those **** teams to the eastern conference teams that had more than one all-star that actually won a championship.

To me it just seems you want to ignore just how bad the Knicks roster has been since Melo got here compared to the rosters AI, Bron, and Dwight led to the finals. Cuz they all were better coached and had better teams. Don't delude yourself in to thinking any of those 3 would be leading those Knicks teams to the finals.

One NBA player said given the opportunity most of the players can put up 30 a night. Melo may be one of the toughest to guard but in reality has does that help a TEAM be better. IE he has the best dribble ummmm ok what's that doing for the team. He leads the league in steals ok what's that doing for the TEAM what are his other intangibles.

Not sure how Melo playing subpar this season is even debatable?

He literally does one thing 99% of the time: Dribble, dribble pull up. That's it. 

I've always been a Melo supporter, but his offense is stale, athletic ability (wasn't elite to begin with anyway) has declined and it's showing more than ever. Just admit it. He can still have a great game on any given night, but consistency is key to being one of the best players, and he's not that anymore.

You can be a Knicks fan and be a Melo fan. It's not mutually exclusive

Defense is so much better with KP rim protecting and Melo guarding the 4. We become a average defensive team we'll improve so much. Our 54 win team was top 10 in offense in top 15 in defense. This team has the potential to be top 10 in offense and top 20 in defense. We had so many savy and smart veteran defenders on that 2012 team

Billy has been awesome though. High IQ, sets great screens and gets us into our offense fast, knows where to position himself and move off the ball, and is a strong dude. Son beat Dwight in their 4th quarter duel and was in his head

Noah's been in the league long enough. I think if Hornacek approached him about taking on a smaller role he'd be okay with it.

He still has some value but it's not as a 30+ mpg starter.

I mean come on it should've been common knowledge even before the season started. If u wanted to get a big who can play 20 minutes at the 5 since Billy and his development in the NBA was a question mark you sign Cole Aldrich to a one year deal

If Knicks make the playoffs, just watch everything Noah does. Good teams magnify Noah's ineptitude a million fold. He is a shot clock violation waiting to happen if he has the ball in the high post against a good team.
