Big year for OOS programs to come in and steal a bunch of high-end talent?

I think people are overreacting to that A&M loss. They lost because their coaches decided to throw the game. It was obvious UCLA was far and beyond overmatched in that game and they're a really talented team. A&M will win 8 or 9 if Sumlin and the coaches get out of their way. This should have been a 10 win team with losses to LSU and Bama.

If the last 5 years are any indictation... Sumlin isn't very good at getting out of his own way. Zebras can't change their stripes.

This was monumental, obviously, but it's not the first time Sumlin and Mazzone have burned a game because they refuse to slow down the pace with a lead late. Or Chavis has smacked the hell out of a quarterback for 2.5 quarters, built a lead, and stopped blitzing and watched his defense get shredded.

It's the same issues every week, every year.
Even Urbz going at Herman
Tom's a little bit of a loose cannon. I feel like there's a little Bo Pelini in him.

Interested to see, as the year plays out, how he handles the mounting pressure. It'll be fascinating.

Texas's problem isn't talent. Maryland was the better coached team, which is why they won.

That L is on Herman and his staff.

Texas didn't look as "talented" as many made them out to be. They didn't really seem like they were on another level athletically (overall) vs UMD, imo

Their WR's especially

The difference in talent wasn't drastic but Texas was just so sloppy. Stuff like missed gap assignments, losing contain, and penalties are all the results of poor coaching.

Texas might have been the slightly more talented team but UMD outexcuted them for the majority of the game.

How do you think UMD does in the B1G this year?

That Herman **** is so silly too. Charlie had the 7th, 10th, and 20th recruiting classes nationally.

He's been annoying these last two years.

They're a 5 to 7 win team max. And that's with wins over Texas, Towson, Rutgers, UCF (maybe), Minnesota and Indiana (maybeeeee), and a possible Northwestern upset? They're not good.

8-4, or 7-5 as long as those backs stay healthy and out of trouble. They're probably the 5th best team in the conference this season IMO.

NW looked like trash against a terrible Nevada team, and Kevin Wilson is gone at IU. They'll win those games.

And Herman got hyped up so much that I wouldn't mind to see him fall flat on his face. Welcome to the big leagues.

Torrence Gibson, Savion Smith, and Sam Bruce are at MGCC this season.

EMCC has Kirk Merritt, and Teair Tart-Spencer #2 JC guy in the country.
