Mookie is really playing himself into MVP consideration. Muncy has still been the best/most consistent this season, but Mook really seems like he’s getting fit and hot with the bat. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that it’s coming at a time where he doesn’t have to play CF as much.

Having Scherzer in the rotation really has shifted things, he and Buehler will be dogs in the post season.

I’m not sure I like the Hamels move, but if he surprises then move Urias to closer for the playoffs. Jansen can pitch the 6th if we up 12.

This weekend is our chance to make up ground against SF. We are playing the Angels and not having to face Ohtani I believe. Anything less than a sweep would be a disappointment. And the giants play the Brewers. Finally, a good team.
