Boras just confirmed that they had a short term offer with $45M AAV, which most likely was the Dodgers'. I'm not going to go crazy and say the Dodgers didn't try. 4-5 years at $45M per year is way outside of anything this front office has done so far. One thing for sure though is that they better be extremely active at the summer trade deadline.
