Why lie to a bunch of a strangers Duke330 ? Everyone in this thread comes from a wide variety of backgrounds. Rich, poor. Gangbanger, corporate citizen. Teenager, family man. Hooper, non-Hooper. Ultimately that **** doesn’t matter because this thread is about the NBA. As long as you’re not a mega-homer or prolific hot take artist, you’ll get respect in here and dignified responses.

Having done a transaction with @bballkid11 he's a great dude. He knows my name it's easy enough to track down. I don't hide. I've never been a homer for anyone other than the guys I personally know. I haven't lied about anything. When I worked in the auto industry it's the same **** talking types on the internet who bully people who somehow are connected. For instance I have a cousin via marriage whose family owns a national ice cream company. My cousin, her husband owns parts factories across the country. When I wouldn't connect people I did business with, with free parts or discounts they got angry. I get a check from the Cleveland Cavs, in April I get my dream job. Instead of tearing people down why not either ignore it, when discussed or talk them up? People gotta chill out with the hate. I don't like certain players, others do. You don't see me telling people who to like and who to not like.

Speaking of Lonzo, is there a timetable on his return?

He was injured on 1/20 with a four to six week timetable. He is progressing well and a a couple days ago started getting back on the treadmill. First game back after ASW is 2/21 so I imagine he will be back by the first week of March at the latest.

Wasn't my place but he was the guy I wanted. Just took him some time to catch up to speed and slow down. He was sensational last night defensively and his shot is coming around. Is he an untouchable piece. Not yet IMO. But he's on his way and he's 19 years old. Hard to fault anyone at that age playing the game with men like Russ or even as mediocre as I think he is DLO.

The thing is, I don't care. Some of you act like insulting me over facts bothers me. My work squad gets a kick out of it, I dig it. In reality, I get up, I kiss my wife, and go to work, help take care of my 92 year old grandfather (who the Cavs have been more than generous in allowing me to work remotely certain days since my grandmother's passing), while putting my pants on one leg at a time. Just like many of you. I also don't have an issue with people calling me out because it's like throwing air at a wall. I have an amazing life. A couple of people on a shoe forum hurling playground insults matters nothing.

Yeah wasn't comparing them as players, just saying DLo is a grown *** man and Sexton is a 19 year old kid learning to be an adult at the same time as he has to learn to run a team of mismatched parts and injuries. Long way to go before putting a verdict on the kid who really seems like a grinder.
