SHAMS: A market is forming for Nets All-Star and restricted free agent DeAngelo Russell: Utah, Orlando, Minnesota and Indiana are among the teams expected to show an interest aside from Brooklyn, sources said.

Out of all those teams Orlando is the only one i could see him seriously going.

It’s like nothing was learned from the 2011 LeBron stuff. I haven’t taken a single report seriously ever since
The media's been running with this KD has already signed with the Knicks story, but truth be told I don't get my hopes up with anything until after it's done. If anything, all the aggressive *** stories just came off as manufactured and reaching for a story. I can't speak for all Knicks fans, but I know I and a lot of the Knicks thread on NT are relatively realistic about what could happen.

As long as we don't overpay for a second tier player, I'm cool.

Man the fact that ppl like Ric Bucher have come out and said KD to NYK is a "done deal" makes it that less likely it does happen lol smh

Right, I really don't get the angle the media was going for other than getting Knicks fans hopes up for the disappointment, which wouldn't really surprise me...but since when do so many different personalities speak in absolutes during the season that way. Either they had a different goal or someone was planting a false story.

I have a hard time buying that it was a foregone conclusion at any point. KD isn't going anywhere until he signs on the dotted line, and we all know most times the decision comes at the eleventh hour.

Why would we care what NiceKicks is reporting and if Nike is selling a T shirt? They can sell out of those T shirts before he makes a decision and then sell a new KD shirt with his new team.

This. The majority of free agents make their decision at 12:01 eastern time

This is where i disagree, I don't necessarily think KD to the Knicks is a lock. But i do think most FA's have a very good idea where there going a few months prior. There aren't many people in the world who would just pickup & move to a brand new city w/o planning for it.

Anything juicy in that AD article on the Athletic? I refuse to pay.

I agree they probably have an idea, but I don't think it's ever a lock in a player's head until he's signed and sitting at that press conference.

But to think he was so sure midway through the season that he was telling people and people felt comfortable enough to share that with the media? Nah, I can't buy that.

I was being sarcastic :lol

ya makes no sense to not get the max... thats the only point of making all nba and being with the same team for mad long so your entitled to max dollars...kemba should take the max or bounce off principal to another team just not the knicks

Yea he's not leaving Brooklyn if they come correct. Those other teams are ewww.

I don’t know if “ewww”’ is the word I’d use, but definitely have a hard time seeing choosing to go to some of the spots mentioned, especially Utah.
