Definitely regret not grabbing these or any other 97's in 2010.

Love the new Neon's in person though. The neon is vibrant and I love how they added the PSI numbers on the sole, I think that was a nice touch.

dont own a pair of 95s but if i was to own a pair, it would be these neons that just dropped. was a teen in the 90s so this shoe is familiar with me, but i was only into Jordans then, and i wasn't spoiled enough to bug my parents to buy me Js and air maxes

my wallet hurtin though from too much spending so i have to pass.

but its nice to see that i can still add either my size 11.5 or 12 on finishline. if i can add em online, im sure stores prob have em good in stock. maybe if they go on sale lol

Exactly. It's just an add on... Nike could have just given us the red box and no one would say anything, they give a little extra OG feel and people are complaining that it isn't done "correctly"

yep, i tried adding 25 pairs in a bunch of sizes and there were no issues with the cart. i didn't go so far as to try checking out further.

but regarding my order, i ordered 2 pairs from fnl and called about free shipping which they said on the phone they will honor that when (if) i get my order. they also mentioned that my order was on hold (not sure really why even after their explanation) so no guarantees on if it'll even come through. i've only received email confirmation from fnl, no shipping confirmation yet and a temporary authorization on my cc.

either way, i ended up copping the last pair in my size at my closest available spot that had these available.

In the bordeaux vii thread its reported they oversold 1600 pairs of bordeaux vii and were trying to get pairs from stores to fulfil orders

Ordered from SNKRS, got shipping confirmation through SNKRS a couple hours ago.
I'm in a different city right now & had to order them since I didn't know any stores here, found a place though in the afternoon & checked them out real quick. I'm somewhat excited to get my pair but still on the fence with them being $170, just a lot for an AM IMO no matter how you shake it.

We buy the shoe for nostalgia. This box is nostalgic. It's not the same as the original, but neither is the shoe. Like I said, it's a nice bonus. Sorry I tried to give you some in-hand perspective on the shoe. I guess you'd prefer the thread went back to posts about "where can I cop" "What size should I buy" and "why does it say aimax???"

i think most understand this, especially for those that have been in this for many years.  it's a give or take because those that actually critique the release probably understand how it works.  nike just don't replicate the previous models the same way.  it sucks, but that's just how it goes.

that shirt is actually tacky, but it's also politically challenging and instigating. lol

remember the HOA, "where were you shirts? and all the rhetoric dialogue prints? lolz.

the sole just looks too isolated in color.  no matter how, it just looks so odd.  the gradient fade was one of the biggest factors in design, but it seems so evident that the 'mid sole' / 'sole' looks like a separate piece.  you can tell so easily  in the 'real' pics.

people will complain for the sake of complaining... these are the same people who passed and try to find a reason to justify passing... i wanted to cop the shoe but i didnt agree with the retail price and my 04 pair still looks great so i passed myself.. but i would of definitely copped if i could

LOL. not this colorway. played out, over hyped out.

do kids even know? it's the blue x volt.  and asia black x volt/neon

hands down two of the best and most classic CW for the 97s. no need to convince. hahah.

the TRUE 97s are also done really really well, but people/kids just don't know.
