It's definitely not the 'native' French that are dominating football for them
They weren't anywhere near what they are now when the squad was filled with Gaulois over the 1st or 2nd generation citizens of the last 2 decades+. They didn't come close to sniffing a WC until that changed
Immigrant’s really took France Football to another level. They really put it on the map.
Gaulois ain't never been **** without black and brown bodies for a long *** time now. From slavery and colonization to sports and arts (mostly music and cinema) nowadays and yet they claim we're a nuisance (ironically saying "immigration is a chance for France"), even exporting the "Great replacement" theory and other fantasized "White genocide" to each and every white supremacist lunatic on the face of Earth.
"Native" (or "de souche", as they say) don't really care about football like that indeed and yet we STAY WINNING, not thanks to them but despite them. From FFF to sports journalists and pundits, they all can't wait to see us fail.
But we still winning and that's why, besides talent and all that good ****, EdF is special, DIFFERENT.
Winning 3 out of the last 6 World Cups would be crazy for France.
My Pop’s favorite player was Platini and then Zidane but I don’t even think he saw this coming.
Pops always said the “native French people care too much about skiing..”

Even if they don’t win it again. Still crazy. Massive amounts of progression in such a short period of time.
That’s the thanks he gets for helping Argentina beat the Dutch .
the problem is they have made themselves as important as the players. lahoz does that every single week in la liga. makes the match about him. teams scout the refs as much as players. there is zero consistency and each ref wants the match to be played in their own way THEY see fit.He was bad all around. They need better ref academies in that massive Iberian farmland
