The refs can give a yellow to a player for diving. I don’t think it’s been done yet in this tournament so yes it’s weird that it would happen in favor for Argentina and after the fact the ref had already made a decision.That's crazy I never knew they actually called flops in soccerjust so happen to be in Argentinas favor after it gets tied....whoo conspiracies firing up right now

The problem is you can call back for a blatant dive but the opposite happened in the last game with Argentina and Egypt where a goal was disallowed for a missed call then the referee missed the same call and var didn’t step in.
It’s inconsistent and really has shown favoritism for Argentina consistently

I mean technically I agree, but to do a flailing backwards kick when you’re right in front of the referee and not even in a scoring position on top of that is beyond stupid. I’m not even rooting for Argentina; you already know they’re going to get the benefit of the doubt. Why risk it?

Yea Embolo was getting hounded most of the match without getting calls and he was getting pissed so I guess he felt compelled to sell it more at some point but yea that was blatant
Just wish the ref was consistent because it's been a very recklessly called match
