They better have the super soft, buttery leather if they’re being compared to the 2011s.
Which they probably won’t.
Which is why Nike sucks.
We just got the 85s tbf.
Really excited about these lows. I wear the CNY version a ton and expect to do the same with these. Easily a double up

Oh lord, more “banned” nonsense even with those shoes or the ones actually banned? Keep it OG and keep it moving. The story telling is downright corny now.
Totally agree. I’m not a fan of the banned gimmick especially the tumbled leather. I much prefer they go full grain like the 2015. That being said I’m still grabbing 3x of these as the first rendition is probably my favorite shoe of all timeThat banned X shee-ite is beyond beyond weaksauce at this point. No interest in a big X on the heels.
For the first time in my old-*** life, I’m suddenly becoming weary of this whole thing. Mostly because of the suspect materials/shape/build quality of so many releases (after it briefly seemed we were on an upswing), and corny ongoing gimmicks like this. I’ve got a mountain of shoes I’m about to list for sale, and 9X more sitting in my closet. I will never quit buying shoes I like, but the thing is, Nike/JB is making my purchases fewer and fewer because of the above reasons.

Any chance Nike/JB releases more stock of the Chicago Low soon? I have a Nike gift card that's catching on fire.
likely. not selling out
I doubt they do but everywhere else will have a sale eventually. Most likely right after the holidaysSold out direct from Nike right now. My only choice.
Is it actually on the heels of these, or is it just the insole? As long as they didn't put it on the outside of the shoe anywhere, I couldn't possibly care less.![]()
