I’m convinced Nike keeps B Grades for themselves, my JD pair was completely fine this is the SNKRS pair.

Give me some feedback and honest opinions. I love these banned lows, but maybe the leather in general is a bit better on the black toe lows from 2023? I just checked in on a DS pair to grab the black laces (without aglets) to throw in the breds.
At the end of the day, neither compares to the shadow OG highs from I think 2018...those are the best leather I've seen on a Jordan 1, no question.

Got my Banned Lows yesterday and I lowkey might return them. Fit is weird on a first try-on. As someone who wears almost only 1's and Air Ships, the width/shape feels weird. I'm getting Jordan 4 pinky toe pinch and way too much contact/rub on the medial side too. I can sometimes do 11.5 or 12 on 1's and went 12 on these, but they still feel small/wrong. Might try some in-store and see if I can happen upon a better fit, but I think these are going back. Bummer. Beautiful shoes and decent materials but I'm not hurting in order to wear shoes.
Literally the only pair of shoes I've bought this year and they are a disappointment. Nike helping me stay out of the game.

Hmm...I have wide feet and if anything the shape on these banned lows seem wider/more comfortable than previous 1 OG highs and lows that I have. Maybe try another pair if you find in-store?

Do you have the Nigel 1 lows? To me the banned lows fit identically to those. Feels like same materials, same shape, etc. I wonder if you straight up have a defective pair. I’m also a wide footer and these banned lows fit me wayyyy better than my Chicago lows.

No, don't have the Nigels. Kinda hoping I just got a bum pair. Will check a couple spots this weekend, if it's convenient. If they don't have my size and they don't fit better, I'll just send these back and not have them. I've already spent more effort than I wanted to on these. Nike gets 1.5 chances this time. Otherwise, I think I'm out completely after this.

First full day and many more to come! The only shoe I would theoretically want more would be the highs, but I'm getting older and lows are more wearable anyhow. I'm so happy with these!

Got in my pair from SNKRROOM and yep - I'm very glad I also picked up a pair from FTL because the pair that got delivered today are SUPER mismatched. These are getting returned to FTL

Cyber Monday Highs crush all of these tbh. Lowkey they're better quality than 2015 SBBs but were essentially forgotten because of how boring of a cw they were lol

I have the cyber mondays, and had the 09 shadows. CMs have nice soft leather, probably pretty close to SBBs, but 09 shadows had thick, soft leather, as well as nice soft suede. Other than not having the high cut, and no Nike air, that was a great release. One of the best retro 1 releases as far as materials go anyway.

That's how my comment sounds. The real reason is because my Js and Yeezys were stolen so I've been in a very slow rebuilding phase...couldn't bother to really care for a few years and glad to have these bred lows now.
