Official Air Jordan III/XX CDP Release Post! NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING!

Yo guys I just found something really wrong with my pair of III's from the CDP. I've worn them once and I have noticed that on the right hand shoe (thesoles on the left in the photos), the soles have started peeling on the red and white sections. On closer inspection, the whole sole seems unfinished as it ismissing many bumps and grooves compared with the other shoe, like it's missing a layer. It even feels a lot smoother and the stars look unfinished. Thisisn't something I usually check with scrutiny when I buy a pair of shoes, I just expect the soles to be intact and correctly finished.
I contacted Nike Customer Service Australia (I bought them from Footlocker on release here in Australia) and the woman told me to take them back, let themanager inspect them and exchange or refund them because there is a factory flaw. I told her that these were the only size 9 in the store so she said they willtry and exchange with a Footlocker elsewhere or I just have to give them back and get the money back.
Is there anything else I can do because this is some serious bulls*** seeing as I paid the expensive retail price for them.

uta is grimey for changin the price from 210 to 230... 210 wasnt even all that of a good price anyway... it shoulda been under 200... i guess people are goingto cop regardless...

just got my pairs from UPS today
looking good so far
IIIs are beautiful. i might actually get another pair of IIIs
XXs are pretty good. theres some scuff on the suede but thats how most, if not all, suede shoes are. the toe area is a darker shade of black suede than therest of the upper. i just wished the lace cover was the same material as the toe suede.

That's messed up how they did your soles dude. I would just take them back an find another pair online or something.

btw the pic of the XXs that someone ps'ed woulda been a lot better if those were released instead
and the CDP XX arent really as bad as the pics seem to show. much better in person imo.

explain?.......... think about it. how much does a aj 3 retail for. im not to sure but i think its either 115 or 135. y would u think 209 dollars is a gooddeal just because everyone has jacked up the price? that doesnt make since to me. wat does make since is that 20's retro for 175 and the have them for 109.thats wat u call a good deal. heck a great one. u dont understand u dont have to cop for a rediculous price just because the shoe is popular. hell u u gone pay209 or 230 for one shoe u might as well spend a couple more dollars on the whole pack. ive been collecting for about 5 years now. or if you looked at it thisway half of a 310$ pack is 155. so y would u think 209 and 230 are good deals? and i never ever payed over retail for a pair of shoes. and i have copped somepretty hyped shoes years after they were released for retail and under retail. people like you are the reason y resellers jack up prices because they knowyou'll fall for the hype trick.
con someone explain to me y 230 is a fair price on a pair of recent retro 3's? i could see if we were talkin bout some og's or old retros.

The point ur missing is you can't buy the 3's alone for $115 or $135. They come in a stupid pack for $310. So if you only want the 3's you eitherbuy the pack for $310 and sell off the XX's or buy for $209 and have a Benjamin in ur pocket, no ebay auction or shipping to get rid of the XXs youdidn't want. Alot of people wouldn't buy the XX's for $175 let alone $109..You pay a bit more for convenience, and get a shoe that won't bearound again for awhile..and for sure not at that price. Some of u don't get that some of us aren't into the $100 CDP box, we just want the shoes..andhave no problem splitting a pack to get at em....

Yea these packs are all over in footlockers and fa's I jus don't wanna drop the 310.....I jus want the iii's checked two spots for the iii'sbut they were gone....the search continues......

I was able to find a spot with just iii's for 150 a piece believe you me I was all over that
but they did not have my size 11 so I had to pay retail for the pack and now I am trying to get rid of the xx's
no why am I going to get 150 for the xx's so I am paying like 200 for just my size iii's
I am working on another spot for like 10 pairs of gs iii's for $90 a piece another bargain imo
maybe i will get another pair of iii's lets see

Both good points, but this is an unsolvable argument since they're coming from two different point of views. People just use their money for whatever reason the want to! Why care? None of our business.

I don't understand this either. If I'ma pay 230 for those III's, I'll just drop the 310 and wear those XX's as beaters. Just my opinionthough. I had no problem picking up this pack at retail rather than just getting one of the pairs for 80 bucks less than the whole package.

Grailman, I see where you're coming from. You have to look at it this way, though. When you split the pack, you're paying what the resell value wouldbe as if they were to have been released seperately.
If these III's were a semi limited GR (same amount of pairs produced as packs released) released seperately for $125, better believe the resale on RD wouldbe $210-$250. Simply because people would be all over such a classic colorway for $125.
If these XX's released as a single retro, in this all black colorway, for $175...better believe the fair market price would be around $110.

- Only if you planned on reselling. But even then, you should be able to make a profit in about......10 years.
