Mine haven't separated yet, and I doubt they ever will. The only thing to worry about is the very minor paint chipping.

The 2012 pairs are looking really good. I prefer the monotone black to the two tone grey and black on the DMPs and the OGs, so I'm happy with the early pics. The question is, how bright will the red be and how will the leather quality be? Can the 2012 retros measure up to the 2002 retros (my favorites of this colorway)? We'll find out.
