Metallic pack is cool but they over saturated the sneaker market with the 97 model. I love the silhouette and have like 10+ pairs, but you don’t need a new color way every 2-3 weeks. If you go on NDC and click the 97 link, there’s like 15-20 color ways

Been beating the gold and silvers up, gonna need the whole set for next Summer. Wht/Silvers for sure. I think those were supposed to be limited if I remember correctly.

Saw the Black/Golds at a local FTL. I'm definitely a fan. It seems like they're sitting at a lot of places, so I'll wait for the deep discount.

Several of the 97s are marked down on NDC. I was able to use a code and 6% ebates to pick up the black and yellow and silver and red pairs for 96 plus tax not including the 6% back from ebates.

Love the Gold/Black and the Silver/Black, like I love the Emerald one and great other colorways like Anthracite/Orange.
That being said, I'll definitely pass, even if Metallic pack pairs look better in my opinion than OG's Silver Bullet and Gold pair, because as mentionned before, it's hard to follow all the releases and you got to make choices, mostly if you buy other Nike sneakers and even sportswear...
Hope Nike, in parallel of this, will release a cheap shoe with 97 vibe like they did for the 95 with the Invigor (even if I did not find adult sizes :s) or with the 98 with the Axis, we both need shoes with dope colorways and materials to chill and have style, and cheaper neutral shoes to rock in every situation without having to pay attention to not ruin the pair...
Again congrats to Nike for all the great colorways they honoured us with.

Just grabbed a second pair of the black/silvers. My homie let me use his swoosh since they didn’t sell out, so I’ll be returning the full price pair :smile:
