Hello everybody,

Here is the original mesh Player Edition of the Air Trainer 1 worn by John McEnroe and Mats Wilander during Roland-Garros 1988.
This is a massive want as this version suits perfecty for spring/summer time. Plus the clay insole... Pure madness.
So nike nike , please listen to us, we want this mesh version of the Air Trainer 1 , it would certainly find its clientele.

The all white version Mac wore in Wimbledon is also a dream :emoji_butterfly:

UNDS’ing these was fun. No chance I’m only buying 1 of these. I can easily wear these everyday :nthat:

They look really great, but wearing these everyday will be dreadful in terms of the pleather Nike used for the wuite panels. They will bend and crease as hell, I'm afraid...

Anybody else’s SBs discoloring in a similar manner? Mine have a light brown tint. They’ve been worn but nothing crazy. Always cleaned and stored after wears, etc.

Threw in my 2012s for comparison purposes. So one shoe is 12 years old, worn etc but still relatively white and looks fine.

Meanwhile, SBs are barely 2 yrs old and look like I’ve played a few church league softball games in them.

It's tough to stop oxidation. Some rubber made things just oxide faster than others. Even if you whiten with the sole sauce and light method it'll return.
