Official AUTHENTIC NBA JERSEY Post - Bringin Back the JERSEY ERA... (Info/Guide = Page 1)

Somebody on the fb jersey pages said they were but if they didn’t drop before game 2, I doubt it’ll happen for awhile.

to be 100% with you guys, it looks like it was a total rush job. The back sticks up where it says James (So it won’t lay completely flat) and the 3 in front and on back are kinda bubbly like a fake imo. It’s knit picking I know, but overall still a sweet jersey.

Sell it

So I ordered a few kobe authentics, a warriors jacket and t-shirt off the NBA EU store and now DHL is holding my package hostage and they want me to pay 293 dollars for customs fee. For those of you with experience ordering from overseas, how do I cancel this order/force them to return it for a refund?

Shouldve done your research before ordering. Ask the sender if they can retrieve the package back.

Apologies in advance. I know this is the authentic thread, but can I please get a legit check on a recent swingman purchase? I thought it was 100% legit at first, until I received it today. After closer inspection, I now have a couple of concerns:

1) The jocktag doesn’t have the “length +2” attachment
2) The Nike hangtag says “NCAA” at the back even though it is an NBA jersey
3) Jersey has a slit on the bottom sides, which are not present on my other nike swingmans
4) The fit is smaller and shorter than my white Jordan Wizards (I overlapped them on the last photo to see the difference)

Thanks!
Nike didn’t add the “Length +2” on to the Swingmans until the 2002-2003 season. All Nike Swingmans prior just had the jocktag, like this Jordan.

NCAA logos on the tag were so that Nike could use the same tag across leagues, this was done on their NBA products for years.

Slits on their Swingmans were normal until 2002-2003.

Is the home you’re comparing it to a “Length +2”? That really added a lot to their sizing in 2002-2003 compared to the sizing from seasons prior.

Hope this helps and clears up your concerns. Jersey is 100% legit.

Yes, the white one is a length +2. I appreciate the history lesson. It makes perfect sense since I really didn’t pay attention to jerseys til 2003 onwards. Thanks again!

Does anyone know if these VC’s are legit?

They are the correct size (not like the 46,50,54’s that I see), but the thing that gets me is that the jerry logo looks a little off. Otherwise the materials and quality look great...

Not 100% sure but leaning towards fake on the Carter jerseys. They look like those really good Reebok/Adidas fakes from the early 2000's. Once got fooled by a Reebok Artest 'Authentic', happily posted on here, only to find out it was a fake. Aside from the Jerry logo looking off, the material on the lettering & numbering looks quite puffy and the numbers on the size tags don't look right either.

Thanks. Yeah the font on the jock tag (esp the 48 ) looked off too. Its tough to tell cause I’ve seen a couple of other jerseys from that era (Nash, k-Mart) that either have the same type jerry logo or same font (but not both) and they look legit too. But I guess where there is smoke there is fire lol.

I also thought Rbk started adding team logos to jock tags once they took over the nba contract in 04-05??

If anyone’s got a legit Rbk VC it would be great to see what to look for and compare the differences.

Also, if they can make fakes this good back in the day it’s surprising to see so many bad fakes still 15 yrs later lol.
