That's not true. There are solid projects in the top 50 that will do extremely well in the next 8-10 years. The meme coins are not my cup of tea. But when certain crypto companies are talking to the WEF , the UN , the world bank ,the BIS, and central banks around the world that means change is coming. I think crypto will change the financial landscape of everything in the not too distant future. This is a new asset class and it's in its infancy stages.. Bitcoin may remain number 1 , but there will be coins in the future that will be worth almost as much in terms of market cap.With the exception of btc crypto is just gambling. Even if the only usecase for ALTS were stable coins, it's still better than current methods of transferring money which BTC can't do.
VISA, Stripe and PayPal are all into crypto for a reason. No one is trying to get left behind like Nokia and Blackberry.
The tech is legit but we're all in it for the money. No one is trying to hear about Proof of Stake or ZK Proofs so memes will always get the most attention because that's where the money is, espececially if you didn't accumulate the legit stuff during the bear market. Retail is not here in the bear so what are they gonna do? Buy Eigenlayer or Dogwifhat?

As good as crypto rails are for money and settlement, this industry isn’t actually feasible for anyone at the moment. Immutability is the biggest deterrent to businesses/entities actually using crypto. Tax laws limit transactions.
The only way it works is with centralization and then you just have traditional finance 2.0.
So yeah, sell the pumps to people dumber than you and get rich along the way.
Only bitcoin works long term.
