Agreed, but in the meantime people will love their gains. The stock market and bitcoin are driven by investor emotions and investors know deregulation is coming. Deregulation is good in the short term but disastrous for the future as you note. Get ready for TrumpMagaElonDodgeMoonRocketPutin Coin. :smh:
 
USA Bitcoin reserve will be at 1,000,000 BTC holdings (200,000 annually for 5yrs)

i am def not happy about another trump presidency. i made my feeling clear earlier…but being pragmatic, if i can eke out a decent profit at some point because of the hype, i’ll take it and do some good for my kids.

i’m wondering if getting rid of gensler and a taking a laissez faire/deregulation approach will be great for meme coins and bitcoin and less so for legit utility/defi projects. i’m hoping the US adopts something like mica but idk man…looks like the doors to the wild west casino might stay open for the next 4 years.
 
I ain't a macro expert but I think either party will print money regardless. One was just more crypto friendly.

I think Defi projects will thrive.
Governance token are useless for the most part but once the Defi projects can switch on fee sharing with token holders then they wil pump. I believe most have not done so because they don't want to be branded as a security by the SEC.

SEC could never target meme coins. There's no one to go after so I think we could possibly see even a rotation to utility at one point but memes will always be strong now that we have pump.fun.

Uniswap. They had a proposal for it and the token pumped on the news. This was before their Wells Notice from the SEC.
I don't think other projects have made similar proposals and who knows how long it will take for regulations to be put in place.

For me though I would go the Solana Defi route. Raydium has been pumping hard because of pump.fun and has been generating more fees than Uniswap with a much lower market cap.
If we get a full blown meme supercycle and they start sharing revenue with RAY stakers, it will fly.

I was looking at RAY this morning wondering why it was running so hard.

That would be great for the market if it came to pass.
 
Also Kamino and Drift will benefit too since they're the Aave and DyDx of SOL.
Both up a lot today.

With Trump launching his own Defi product based on Aave, the shackles has been released on Defi.
Should've kept the airdrop for both :lol: :smh:
