***Official Breakfast Club Interview Thread***

yooooo that is random as hell :rollin

Edit: so im sitting here listening to Joe budden podcast and apparently Kia shine got beat up by taylor gang security at a3c because they didnt know who he was and he tried to get on stage.

WTF i haven't heard about him since So krispy
Bruh this the most Kia shine has been talked about on nt or ANYWHERE
since that best I ever had dispute with drake :lol

He said on BC it bothered him and why. He also said him and Charlamagne talked about it before he did his MTV show. Then he said on 97 that he didn't like all the jokes and they were going too far but that's their show and what they're known for.

The issue with Charlemage was with the Donkey of the day for the Meek/Nicki comments and how hard he went supposedly.

The domestic stuff is different...even YesJulz grilled him about it on his podcast and her podcast.

Joe knows damn well what CTG means when he says "the lie is more entertaining that the truth" but he made is seem like he was lying on purpose :rolleyes

He was just following Ebro/Rosie lead like a lame. You can see on his face he didn't like the joke Rosie made at the end..

Didn't realize Dave East was from 108th and 1st. I practically grew up on that block. Not a bad interview. Never heard his music but I'm about to get on that.

He said the problem he had with Charlemagne was the whole Donkey of the Day situation and how they're friends from South Carolina and he went too hard on him :lol

Yee said "the only reason I'm being nice to you is because I heard you hit women" .. whole room laughed, the whole interview was them laughing so why go on to the next interview and act like you weren't feeling it? :rolleyes

Even still, if you got arrested multiple times for domestic violence why are you surprised that media outlets discuss it? How is that classless? Sounds like Media 101 to me

I think you have an issue with Joe, because you keep mentioning it every time he's brought up.

It was obvious Joe wasn't feeling the questions and tone several times during the interview. So because he laughed at one obvious joke, he shouldn't have had problems with the whole thing? It was obvious at one point he just felt like let's just move on, because it's bad radio.

I mean did you expect him to be arguing on national radio like Dame Dash?

And is guilt determined by arrest or off convictions?

all his promo stops mentioned domestic violence but I keep bringing it up :lol

Executive just wrote the same thing I wrote but I specifically had a problem with Joe :lol

Been arrested multiple time for the same thing but shocked when it's discussed, Mister Cee ain't do it either

I don't think he was "shocked" it was discussed. I think he wanted to bring up the fact that the full story is never told when it comes up. Full story meaning, charges got dropped and cases got tossed.

Exactly

and I think he took it as him and Chatty having a better relationship than clowning him publicly at the expense of the truth or finding out the truth.

Just like Envy the DJ who was down with Desert Storm having less knowledge of his music than Yee.

The dude you're cool with, you clown him as donkey of the day. The dude who doesn't like you and you clown, you all of a sudden get giddy because he mentions your name in a song and start gushing and praising him all the time. I mentioned that when it happen, because of how obvious it was. Drake's whole diss was around Nicki and Meek. But now it's cool to like Drake, and he was corny before.

Matt seems mad smart but full of ****. Looks like he's believing some of his own ****. Saying he's the first to put Remixes on albums. He was managing NaS for his only number one album and "Stillmatic" was his last album on Columbia. Both wrong, he had two more albums on Columbia and has had a few number one albums. I was dying when he was calling himself a player and ****.

Didn't expect Mathew knowles to have that type of resume
He handled that interview well

He may have misspoke on stillmatic being his last album
Cause if I remember correctly wasn't it suppose to be
Then re-uped after and that was why we got a double disk of streets disciple after gods son
Cause he was just tryna get out when he resigned.
I could be wrong though
He also could have r&b wise about the remix thing
Cause remember back then they put remixes out with the singles
So the only way to really get EM was to buy that single
Or record it on tape on the radio
Think about all them r Kelly remixes
U had to buy the single on tape or cd which included the remix
So I could see his point
I ain't saying he invented the whole idea
But I can't discredit him either
Definitely see dude differently
I actually thought he was a bum
Outcasted from the family
Specially when I saw a thumbnail of him showing chatty patty those penny loafers :lol

Mary remixed the entire 411 album and put it out as an album.
Great point
Damn that album was dope
That 411 remix was my **** :hat

But also wasn't the norm like how it is today
Remixes were mostly only sold with the singles on tape or cd or vinyl

Whole tape bumping. Been rocking with shorty since randomly seeing a video on MTV Jamz, and him shouting out Baltimore. Read his backstory, and listened to his catalogue and been a fan.

Esco on Forbes List :hat
Styles and Jada Snapped on this tape too

I started listening to him with Black Rose. I wish this generation would stop releasing so much free material. It's a double edged sword.

Mathew Knowles is one of those people who think they are smarter than they really are, and who was successful not because of anything specific they did but because of who they were affiliated with(Beyonce of course).
