I'd still look elsewhere. my neighbor put 3 mags in his escalade off a 1500d...sounded amazing..but wasn't as loud as you'd think it shouldbe(atleast compared to older mags)..if u wanna get louder than i think you're turning into a spl guy

what about 2 bl's? 2 qs? 1 btl(not very musical)? the options are endless..

the ssa xcon is a good loud daily driver..

Here's what I got:

Eclipse CD7000
CDT Comps for front
CDT coaxials rear (i actually like my rear fill, tyvm!)
Old school orion hcca 12" (pound likes a champ, and you know you get that pure quality product when it's an older model *see nike)
This is in a ported 2.5^3 box tuned to 32hz
Audio Art - NSX NA-2120x to power the comps, this thing is damn sexy, quite the freaking gem!
Decent alipine for the rear
Old school memphis 750x1 amp that's built like a tank (im looking for a memphis belle now though)

im looking for a new sub that can still work in my box, i need more spl yet still be able to retain the sq to keep up with CDT...ive taken particular interestin SI's line and the XXX...thoughts monday?

that rock fosgate punch is a great amp. i had mine for 3 1/2 years n it only overheated 2wice. it went through 3 sets of subs lol i sold it afteri got my mtx 1501d. i was gonna use it to power my 6x9's n 6x8's but found a buyer who gave me the price i wanted.

This is what i currently got...Pioneer 7" deck, Pioneer Xm box, Pioneer premirer 6x8's, alpine 4 channel, zx750.1 kicker amp, 12" L7, 160gig HDin centerconsole

but ill be doubling up on the kicker L7 and zx750.1 next month...plus 6 screens

I have a stock 8 speaker Moonson system which is good enough for me.

Thoughts about this receiver. Looking for a touchscreen joint thats between the 300-500 range.

Jae Oh En had a real nice system in one of his cars. I forget which one but it had like purple outlines on it. And the subs were deep back in the trunk towardsthe back seat. That's the cleanest set-up I've seen to date

if youre runnin two subs, is it better to have a 2 channel amp or a mono amp?
does it make a difference?

once you upgrade your receiver you'll need to bypass the stock amp..so consider 4 speakers useless

I don't think i'll ever go the route of RD Alphas, DD 9915's, or even fully loaded BTL's.

quite possibly, if money allows it my next setup will be 2 12" BL's or Q's. off a 3000d hopefully.
