thats Pioneer for you man, if it ain't the RCA jacks then its the faceplate. I had a P80mp which did the same thing 3 months later, went ahead and bought a used receiver only(w/o faceplate) and the same thing happened about 7 months later. if the motor didn't go out then its the gears that need to be greased/oiled, i tried fixing mine and got it to work for a few days but it crapped out again so i sold it.

Not even, I got the T1000.1bd and it's birth rate sheet has it pushing 1623 watts RMS
I have it running to 2 10" 2.5 mmats
