*Official* Casino Gambling thread

Wonderful thread...
Definitely big on craps. Play the pass and I'll take some come bets with odds as well, starting at partial odds and pressing up to full. I have a short roll for the most part so I play fairly conservatively until the table feels good. Oddly enough, one of the tables that I've been a consistent winner on (4/4 i think) is the craps table at Surrender. The dealers there once told me that they think that the table has lost the Encore some money with how hot it gets. I'm usually drunk enough to tip absurd amounts (I've given the dealers a unit on the 6/8 on every hit before

)

My new game of choice has been triple play video poker...another game with  some TERRIBLE swings but a minimal house edge. Hit a couple of quads on normal VP and 3p VP on my past trip, haven't seen a royal in a while though.

Pai Gow Poker or tiles has been a great time waster for me too, though I never bet enough for the envy bonus

Happens rarely since it's somewhat antisocial on the big trips i take, but my best game in the casino is limit poker. Low limit poker...I'm usually able to beat that game fairly easily for a little bit of cash and a lot of free drinks.

Anyone go to the Sands Casino in Bethlehem PA? I am there at least twice a week.

I'm about 15-20 mins away from there....I started going once I moved out here (only play Hold'em) and was winning, but then I got greedy and came up losing.....no cash flow since, but hopefully I'll be back in there once I land this job.....I like to go later at night and try to catch the people in there who are either sucking out trying to get their $ back or the drunk ones who don't know when to stop.....good move?
I do this usually when I only have about 100 and wanna play it safe.....with more $ comes more risk/earlier start time, but the pay off could be good.....Also once I double/triple up I usually like to leave the table after a full rotation after being dealer just to cash out what I won and start up.....some might say its not a good move, but I'll take my chances...the dudes crying for me to stay and try to win their $ back usually get the

, but its been a while since that

My school has classes set up to help get a job there (not literally, but they teach you the games).....hope to look into that after the year...might improve my game/get me familiarized with the others and on my way to a gambling problem

the whole point of the casino is to get you to keep playing...free drinks/slow service, pumping that fresh oxygen thru the vents, keeping it very cold and keeping you awake and no clocks/windows etc - they have an edge on all of these table games and the more you play the more likely they are to keep your $

Aint no such thing as strategy in craps. Stop the non-sense. Only BJ and Poker need somewhat fundamentals.

poker shouldn't be in the same sentence with any of these table games for one- secondly if there's strat in BJ there is strat in craps...all of these games are about reducing the house edge...that can be done in craps just like in BJ...

call me crazy, but i dont believe in dice setting or anything like that. there are so many variables that go into the roll, personally i dont think its possible to "minimize 7s" like the video says. unless youre throwing with the exact same motion and the exact same strength and the exact same physics apply on the table.

ill be the first one to admit im an idiot, but i cant imagine this is possible.

all you have to do is look it up...theres rings of dice setters/faders etc that have it down to a science...the casino is always on the lookout for them just like bj card counters and other "cheats" -

heres on from just last month at the WYNN

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 3 (UPI) -- The Wynn Las Vegas resort says it is suing two gamblers from Argentina over an alleged "dice sliding" cheating scheme targeting craps games in its casino.

The resort filed the suit in Clark County District Court against Leonardo Miguel Fernandez, Veronica Elena Dabul and a number of additional "John Doe" parties yet to be identified, the Las Vegas Sun reported Sunday.

Wynn charged in its lawsuit that Fernandez and Dabul, and the unidentified parties, conducted a cheating scheme in which a craps player, in rolling the dice, instead slides the dice down the table without making them tumble, so that preselected winning numbers remain facing upward.

Surveillance tapes from July 17 show Dabul and Fernandez playing craps with Fernandez allegedly sliding the dice at least seven times without betting, the suit says.

"During the same seven slides in the two hour and 15 minute span, Dabul and/or two unidentified men place bets using Dabul's chips," the lawsuit said. "Defendants won a total of $145,000 from these seven slides alone."

Dabul and others "placed wagers with their pooled financial resources all the while knowing that Fernandez would slide the dice and their chances at winning increased," the suit charges.

When cosmo opened they got licked for 1.8 million on their big bacc table by a group of chinese people from china.  They would cut the deck slowly and had a small camera somewhere and saw what cards were going to come out.  That's why when you play big bacc in vegas they don't let you scrape the deck anymore before the cut.  Anyways just came back from a 48 hour session from bacc and took 13k.  Not my biggest win, but I'm juiced because I lost $5k and came back with $500
