Detective Comics and Nightwing are both solid and i'm willing to stick with All-Star for a little longer as well. Not strictly Batman, but i'm also enjoying the new Teen Titans series.

Caught up on some comics I had piled up on my coffee table. You guys weren't kidding about the latest Batman issue. Yikes. What happened to the dialog in Batman? I feel like ever since they went to Santa Prisca, every character talks like Virginia Vision repeating themselves and each other. :x Gonna have to drop this one. I'll spend the money on the new Batwoman ongoing spinning out of Detective.

All-Star Batman's first arc was alright. I was hoping Snyder would be the one to make the first classic Two Face arc, but maybe it's just the character. Really excited for the Mr. Freeze arc happening now. Detective has been really good and I've actually been liking DK3 a lot. (Except for those mini comics in the middle of every issue.)

Funny how so many people arent felling the new Batman. Myself included. Gonna see how this latest arc goes but already leaning towards dropping it. Really miss Snyder and Capullo on it. It was a treat every month. Use to look forward for that issue to drop and now its just like ehh... Still gonna keep All Star Batman in my rotation even tho I did not like that last issue as well.

I been slacking on reading a ton of my pickups. Gotta read batman and see what all this talk is about lol. Been enjoying. A lot of the other titles. Nightwing, Detective, and espicially Superman.

Just shows once again that even a writer who delivers solid work at one point (Haven't read it, but i've only heard great things about King's Omega Men) can still still put out duds as well. Maybe some writers just don't work with certain characters or in trying to do something new and profound they fall flat. Christopher Priest, who i've said time and again wrote the best Black Panther run of all time, is on Deathstroke now and i'm not impressed with that at all.

I'm loving Deathstroke at the moment. The last couple issues were probably the weakest ones though. I wish Priest was writing BP again, but I understand not wanting to be beholden to one character or being the black writer that gets put on all the black characters. I really wasn't feeling Coates BP run.

It's funny cuz I dropped Snyder's Batman too. His All Star Batman is okay so far.

Feel the same about Preist's Deathstroke, dropped it quick. Don't know if it's the writing or character I don't care for.

That led me to searching to buy Mcfarlane's ASM run, but the prices for those are ridiculous lol

Starts off great, then gets a little pretentious and meta but now it looks like it's finishing strong.

Just finished the 18th trade, so i've gotten through the first 100 issues or so, and i'm still enjoying it so far. Said in on another forum, but Invincible, as a character, kind of reminds me of what Peter Parker might be like if he had Superman's basic power set. I've enjoyed the world they built, along with the support cast and villains. The situation with the Viltrumites is pretty interesting in itself, when, at the beginning, I was expecting to be annoyed at the Kryptonian knock offs.

Is Planet Hulk/World War Hulk worth a blind buy? I seen the omnibus coming out soon

And speaking of omnibus, Marvel is playing by not releasing the whole Ultimate Spidey run. They got 4 volumes of Sang-Chi out, but sticking me with only 1 volume of USM
